The food in this restaurant was generously portioned and very fresh. Prices are reasonable. The waitresses were very nice- but painfully slow.

The restaurant is another train car - dinning car. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve good food and the service is very good. Located attached to the hotel makes it really convent when spending a short time and not familiar with the area.

Affordable and clean establishment in a dining car. Server was extremely nice though kitchen was a little backed up. Food was average, a little dry, but the kids enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yes, its a train car, and that cool. But really, its pretty average. Went for lunch on a Sunday and ordered a burger. (Now, there's a big section of burgers, and it's probably a third of the lunch menu.) Came to be that they were out of burger buns - and offered it on toast. So I got a Roast... More

The menu is simple and the food quality is bad. Overpriced for what it is. The star of the menu is the "homemade" mac and cheese which was "correct". I would rate it with one point but the staff was really nice and concern, although should warn us about the huge size of the dishes when we ordered. We ordered... More

This is a very scenic dining facility inside an old rail coach. It even has some shakers every now and then to simulate the rel driving Great if you are with kids! The Strasbourg Railroad is just in front of the Veranda

The wife and our three kids stopped by for a lunch between a stop at the model train museum and the Railroad museum. It was an interesting experience. The hostess was comical in how poorly she was prepared for her job. When people arrived and greeted her with a how are you, she would reply with "I'm tired." This happened... More

Dining in a Real Train Car Was Cool. The food was good and the service was good but eating in a real train dining car was the reason that we went. The motel also looks cool but we did not stay.We ate in the train dining car, looked at a "room" (rooms are also trains) than we looked in the... More
