My family ate lunch here for the first time in several years, and it’s still extremely good. We all got the buffet. Literally everything seems to be made from scratch. Everything is perfect. The beets. The mashed potatoes. The sweet potatoes are perfectly cooked. All...the vegetables are perfectly cooked. Dinner rolls are fresh and amazing. To go out to eat and eat an entire meal that’s made completely from scratch, you typically have to spend a lot of money. This was $15 per person for adults, all you can eat. Amazing. I also tried the chicken noodle soup and it was phenomenal. I consider myself to have a pretty refined palate and I can taste synthetic msg very easily. This soup had no msg in it. Every single commercially made stock has msg in some form added to it, so since this soup did not, that tells me they even made the stock for the soup from scratch. For a buffet. For $15. I’ve eaten at world class restaurants and I enjoyed this meal as much as any meal I’ve ever eaten. The fact that someone could give this place anything less than 5 stars is mind boggling to me. I really think some people have no palate, and they literally just judge food based off of the price and how fancy the restaurant is. I think this place should be a reminder to us all the value of hard work and not cutting corners. Leave it to the Amish and Mennonites to teach us that lesson. It’s a reminder how poor the quality of food has gotten in this country, and I believe the biggest reason for that by far is laziness. This is a very special place and I cannot speak highly enough for it.More

If you’re looking for a decent lunch with a good soup and salad bar in a standard Pa Dutch diner serving good food this isn’t your place. We opted for the soup and salad bar. Given we were in Dutch Country and 1 of the...soups was Chicken Corn Noodle, I thought ‘how could we go wrong.’ It was around 1:00, lunchtime, and the soup had about an inch left in the warmer, thickened by the noodles. Ick. The place was jam packed with folks. It appeared that if you like a lot of starchy foods this is the place. The chicken did look good on the buffet but that was about it. Pass it by.More

The restaurant is mainly a buffet style restaurant but you can also order off of the menu. We went there as a couple but it was obviously set up for group tours. Because of the way it is set up we were positioned in a...corner booth that was difficult to get into. The food was hot and good but just average hometown comfort food. There was no meat cutting station. Our waitress was definitely overworked but very nice and apologetic for not getting to us right away. The first time we went to the restaurant we arrived at 6:00 and it turns out that is the time they close so we went back the next afternoon.More

What a wonderful place to eat. The people are so kind, and the food was so good. We had breakfast there one morning. And it was such a peaceful experience.

Delicious home cooked food and delicious creamy desserts. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The place is immaculately cleaned constantly. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was good but at other Amish places there is more variety and it's even better. I love shoofly pie and couldn't believe they didn't have it.

Been to Dienner's often the past 20 years. The food is decent AND there is the option to order off the menu rather than do the buffet. Our last visit there, neither of us was overly impressed and decided that it must be getting old...with us, as are other buffets in the area. Woud we discourage people from going there? No. Not at all.More

Our hotel was located not far from the restaurant so we could walk across. We had their Breakfast Buffet which was reasonably priced and there was good selection. I personally liked their baked oatmeal.

I don't understand how this restaurant can be rated so well. The chicken and desserts were super good. The rest was stuff you took one bite of and left on your plate. (My husband also liked the beets.) With all the good restaurants in Lancaster,...you would be more satisfied, if you picked another place.More

Recommended by my Airbnb host, I had breakfast buffet here and found it excellent. Their buffet included several Amish dishes and the staff included Amish ladies. Don't miss it!

We stayed at the hotel just past the diner. We were able to walk there. The food was buffet style but was fresh and delicious. The selections were good for adults and kids. It was rough walking back because we were all so full.

We vote with our feet - with all the great spots to dine on simple Dutch food, we love the ambiance and food here. It's a treat to see Scripture on the walls and hear hymns played. The food is simple but very good. Beware...- portions are very generous! We appreciate the politeness of servers and staff.More

I understand wanting to make use of space, but if you are in a wheelchair, do NOT come to this restaurant. They stuck us in a corner where it was impossible to sit with legs under the table and I had to sit sideways. Then,...every time I had to move, I would bang into the table directly behind me. Also, getting food is impossible. The aisles are so narrow, you can only go one way and cannot turn around which was really pissing off other customers. Not good & embarrassing.More

The parking was pretty tight and I didn't notice if there was an open field anywhere nearby. I think you should call the restaurant directly to ask.
