Roast beef better than your mom's! Peanut butter spread you will dream about. Great service, authentic Amish atmosphere.

It was getting late the night my wife and I went to Katie's Kitchen. We stopped there after the restaurant we were going to go to was too crowded....it had been recommended to us, and there were a lot of cars there, so we stopped in. My Wife and I both had their fried chicken. It was very good, but... More

This restaurant was a great find & would highly recommend. Great Amish and down-home American food!! So good that you have to either call ahead & reserve a table, go early to get a seat or stand in line awhile. Very busy any day of the week.

This is a local restaurant that is located on the road between ronks and strassburg. The food here is excellent and fairly priced. The people that work here are very friendly and the facilities are very clean. The bread and the strawberry jam on the table are homemade and simply delicious

If we had known about Katie's before....well, we know now!! This restaurant is authentic Amish food served by wonderful Amish women that obviously take pride in their service to their customers. The place is very clean! We noticed the staff thoroughly cleaning tables and chairs and seats and sweeping the floor between patrons! Our roll which came with our meal... More

We passed this restaurant early in the day and noticed a fairly large lot in relation to the size of the building. When we returned at noon, the lot was full--a good sign. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table, and the wait was worth it. Good simple food served by pleasant Amish waitresses. Don't miss the... More

We go specifically for their cheeseburger soup. It is so delicious, thick, creamy, wonderfully tasteful. Lots of chunks of burger, veggies, and cheese. I always take containers of it in a cooler on our 3 hour ride home so I have it to give to our sons in college, who also love the soup. Never had it anywhere else. The... More

They give rolls with their peanut butter spread. Yum! On Wednesdays, they have "Chicken Pot Pie", which is more like chicken and dumplings. I liked it. My husband got the meatloaf and liked it. My kids got hotdogs and Mac-n-cheese. They looked decent. The staff was friendly and all dressed in Amish aprons. The food came out very quickly. It... More
