I used to go all the time but it has definitely has changed. Food is great and place is supper cute. Unfortunately service is very poor. Made a reservation last month for afternoon tea and took two hours to get food and a pot of...tea. Even if you are super busy shouldn’t take two hours to receive drinks. Also, went in today and turn away whole restaurant book and nothing on their web site stating they were closed for a party. Staff super rude. And didn’t seem to care about customers. Don’t go!!!! Make you soup and sandwich at home just as good.More

I went here thinking it was a true bakery and it's not. They had a small selection of baked goods in a small glass display box on the counter. There main focus was on the tea room. It had an empty feeling when it came...to the ambiance of the place. Decorated nicely but not home-y. The staff was nice and attentive but clueless as to how to serve tea and using tea cozies, there were none, to keep the tea warm. Parking is a nightmare!! there is parking behind the building but for 1 maybe 2 cars. The lot belongs to the other businesses in the area. The street parking is tight and pay meters and hard to find. That is to be said for the business itself, hard to find. It was sandwiched between two other businesses that had more visible signage. The bakery sign was tiny and not visible. I passed the place 8 times before a friend waiting for me inside came outside and waved to me as I passed by. There is loads of potential here to be a better place. I would suggest a trip to the tea houses in London to get a better understanding of how it is done. And the bakery should be better displayed or just have one along with the tea shop. I will not be back, I was very disappointed and spent over $100.00 for ok food. I've had and been to better places.More

We stopped by for lunch and were totally charmed by the Tea Room. It's located in a house-turned-shop, decorated with love and imagination, as well as redolent with lovely smells of baking and cooking. There were baked goods and many types of tea and tea...accessories for sale besides the actual rooms for dining. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered a special- sandwich and tea for 2. All the ingredients were fresh and really well prepared. Our sandwich was substantial and filling, the tea hot and fresh. I enjoyed the experience so much that I want to make reservations for the high tea and chef's tables.More

My buddy and I had breakfast here recently for the first time. I like the way they decorated the place and it's much larger inside than it looks from the outside. They have a whole page of different teas to choose from. Incredible! They also...have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches to choose from. I had the Red Brick Monte Cristo. It was so good! I'll be returning again, with my wife and daughter who I believe will love this place.More

I have visited this bakery and tea room many times. The scones and clotted cream are out of this world. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Order is always ready within minutes. Always one of my go to breakfast places for something special.

I was part of a small group tour. We were met by the super friendly owner and escorted into the tea room. The decor was cute and eclectic. You can smell the aroma of fresh-baked goodies. The mis-matched china and teapots were charming. Our first...tea was a green tea, which was a little weak for our taste, but the second pot was a fabulous apricot black tea. High tea included a raspberry/blueberry scone, a lovely salad with egg, bacon, and cheese, a cucumber cream cheese sandwich, chicken salad on mini croissant, and a ham and cheese salad puff, and a trio of desserts. The strawberry sorbet was outstanding! A sugar cookie and orange cupcake was boxed for a late night treat! The staff is friendly and efficient. There is a cute little gift shop and a few bake goods for purchase.More

My husband and I had reservations here for afternoon tea. The first thing our server told us was that we could have one pot of tea at a time. We could order another pot when we had finished the first. Not only did this make...me feel like I was being treated like a child, but this was the very first impression. I nearly just walked out. We asked for the manager who said that we could each have a pot of tea. Since my husband and I have different tastes, this was far more acceptable. The tea menu is set and, on the day we were there, oddly included two (of three) sandwiches that included red meat, which I do not eat. The third selection was a turkey/asparagus in phyllo dough. No vegetarian options among the sandwiches. Since red meat avoidance and vegetarianism is a lifestyle choice for many, this does not seem to be advisable for attracting repeat customers. The desserts are very fresh, imaginative and good. The service was attentive and friendly. Parking is on-street and limited. While the interior of the restaurant is handicapped accessible, someone in a wheelchair would be hard-pressed to actually get that far. The opening in the brick wall which allows access to the door is very narrow. I'm not certain that a standard wheelchair would fit through. There is a high threshold so a wheelchair would have to be lifted up and over to enter the building. There is another door that is not used by customers but it has steps so that is not an option.More

We have Vegan friends and trying to find special treats for them can be difficult. I called Red Brick Bakery last year to ask if they could make a Vegan cake for their birthday and they did without hesitation. It was fabulous!! So good that...I went back this year for a repeat. Super moist and absolutely delicious!!More
