The atmosphere is very modern. Art on walls is interesting. Food choices are very good - they have a lot for a smaller place and the food is delicious. Bakery / sweets are amazing - some look like works of art you won't want to...disturb, but once you do, your taste buds will thank you. Prices are very reasonable.More

Arrived just before the lunchtime rush, having picked this place at random from Google maps. Had no idea it's actually a cafe associated with the Sweet Street "kitchen across the parking lot. The staff were extra-friendly to three out-of-towners, the food was excellent (and reasonably...priced), and to my husband's delight there was a choice of filtered coffee prepared as he watched. The icing on the cake (no pun intended) was when I went to choose deserts and was told they were on the house, because they loved the fact that we'd come here. Had never heard of Sweet Street (or the word "locavore", but all countries need to take this idea on board.More

Been dining here for lunch since they opened. Probably ate here at least once a week. Food and service were always on point. Then they became popular. Service is still good even with the lunch crowd however the food has gone downhill. I think to...accommodate the larger lunch crowd certain foods are pre-made. Certain sandwiches started to taste like the refrigerator they were stored in. I still go there and recommend however try to order something that has to be made to order.More

Stopped here after a hike with friends. The food was delicious and the atmosphere enjoyable (We ate outside on the patio). My only complaint was that I had an apple dessert that I asked to be heated. It was heated in a microwave which took...the flakiness away from the crust. Otherwise excellent.More

I know Sweet Street is known for their dessert items but in my opinion, it's their cafe that really shines. The cafe is filled with non-GMO and some organic options and always has a great breakfast and lunch menu. We have been going there for...a long time and the staff is always the same crew always greet you with a smile. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. Treat yourself. I think you will be glad you did.More

We visited Reading for one week and visited this cafe three times! Quality, fresh, delicious sandwiches that are made to order and large selection of desserts. My favorite for breakfast was eggs on croissant with fresh avocado. For dessert, the mango passion cheesecake was amazing....They also sell whole cakes that you can simply pick up from their well-stocked refrigerator. A section of this is for not-perfect cakes at half price, which means you can take a whole cheesecake home for $8. Get there early as this place gets crowded around lunch time and the indoor seating area gets full.More

Stopped by here to get some desserts what a fantastic place had to stay for some food and it was delicious. The desserts which you can buy by the slice or whole while were truly the best I have had and very reasonable . Great...find and really worth a visit. The layout of the cafe is small so would say would be hard to find a seat at lunch time. But the decor is modern and all about the food. Service was very pleasant.More
