We arrived there at 8.20, but the restaurant menu was already unavailable. Luckily they had a pub menu (pub closes at 9pm). The menu itself is very simple (burger, fish and chips...) but the food was exceptionally well prepared. While we waited we received some home cooked bread that was excellent. It is quite uncommon to find such good bread... More

I have been here when the original owners had it and it was good. Stopped now with new owner, Jerry, and he creates some wonderful dishes, very well put together staff. It is probably the only fine(r) dinig around, so the local yocals don't know much about cuisine. It is a standout place in a decaying town. Makes you forget... More

We were in town for the weekend and ate here both Friday and Saturday night. The first night we ate there we order soup and it came out cold. So they heated it up no problem and to apologize for the mishap they gave us a free dessert.

Food was very good (meat and chicken dishes, don't know about their fish, but they had a decent variety.) Nice selection of beer, good light, good music. And nice servers. Most everything is ok priced, but don't understand why they would have 27$ for pad thai???

This restaurant is a great place to eat and have drinks. The food is amazing and you can't beat the drinks. They are always changing up the menu and the food is always prepared fresh! If you are not in the mood for an entire meal their bar menu is great. We have been here many times and have never... More

We had dinner for 4 on Saturday evening. The main dining area in the basement has stone walls and hints of a rathskeller, which is interesting. The servers were attentive and pleasant. The food was a disappointment. The mussels in coconut broth (ordered as an appetizer) were overcooked and mealy. The 2 orders of mushroom bisque were served cool and... More

We ate here while travelling through the area last week. Nice old stone building in Downtown Pottsville with lively bar and pub area upstairs and quieter dining room on lower level. We had the pizza of the day, thin crust and very tasty from a wood oven and of course cold Yuengling. The menu includes casual pub fare and more... More

We gathered after a funeral with a group of 14 and couldn't have been more comforted by the staff and cuisine at Greystone. The servers were knowledgeable about the building's history and city history. (Many of us were first-time visitors to Pottsville.) The lunch they had prepared for us was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. The wine list was thorough,... More
