I know the Melting Pot is a chain, but they do their fondue experience so well that it really is one of my favorite places to eat. We do double date 3 course fondue at home when my sister visits, and to do it at the scale that the Melting Pot does takes SO MUCH TIME. Sometimes it is just... More

I had my wife and 2 daughters on a trip to Station Square and we decided to stop in. I was a little skeptical at first but I enjoy trying new things so we gave it a shot. Since the 4 course meal was pretty pricey we decided to just see what it was like so we did the cheese... More

The Melting Pot is a somewhat intimate (dark ambiance), somewhat pricey (for the portions), and somewhat different (from the normal chain) Restaurant. It is not truly a Swiss restaurant in the true sense of the word, but strives to serve various Swiss inspired Fondues such as Cheese Fondue, Chocolate Fondue, as well as the cook your own cubed meats, fish and... They have good food but that is the only good part of our experience. The service was terrible and it was way overpriced. Don't go without a coupon.

My partner and I stopped in here for a glass of wine. Megan the bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable and getting us each a glass of wine that we would like. After hanging out for awhile we decided to try some cheese fondue. It was very good. Interacted with the owner. He was very nice. Great staff and overall... More

This place is always busy. Make reservations even if it's just for dessert! Save some room for this place. The dessert is to die for :)

We got the Classic Four Course was delicious. We use oil as that is all we have been using since are visits from Florida in the past. They have a nice selection of beer and wine. We did not have a reservation but they worked out a table. So give it a try when in Pittsburgh.

Recently went with coworkers during a business trip. We had a fabulous time. Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable with a sense of humor to boot! I have celiac and she was extremely accommodating for me. It is about $40-$50 each for the 4 course (recommended) option. We were there for 3 hours straight! The food was all delicious,... More

This is the second time I have been here with hubby to celebrate valentines day. He always orders chocolate covered strawberries and a single rose awaiting our arrival at our table. I love how the servers walk you through the different steps of the meal and what to do. Lots of options for all courses and you can't go wrong... More
