Kevin is not only a great deli cook, he's a delightful host. This was my first visit to Kevin's Deli. he recommended the Chicken Hoagie and I was not disappointed. The sandwich and fries were hot and freshly made to order. Keep in mind there...is no seating inside so it's definitely a "To Go" or dine outside location but worth the effort. Call ahead if you are in more of a hurry. Next time I am trying the omelette!More

Kevin's Deli is a great little place for lunch! Had the steak salad yesterday. Veggies were fresh. Fries were hot and crispy. Steak was done perfectly. It was delicious! Kevin is an extremely nice guy! Can't wait to go back!

After reading how amazing the food is on Yelp.com I decided to check it out --- Kevins Deli is about 13 blocks away from me and I made the walk in 35 degree typical Pittsburgh weather. When you first walk into Webster Hall it seems...like you're in the wrong place, I followed my instinct and went right at the "T" and followed that hallway all around until I saw an open door (honestly, I smelled good food before I saw it) when you first walk in there's a lady sitting on a chair to the right that takes your order and then she gives it to the cook -- I love trying new food however, I have a touch of hypochondria and I am terrified of new food making me sick, so I like to work up to diffrent things if I've never eaten somewhere before - So I got a typical Turkey, lettuce, onions, tomato, mayo sandwich on wheat bread, with a bag of Doritos and a ginger ale. The owner (Kevin I'm assuming) came in while my food was being prepared and he was so nice - Welcomed me, thanked me for coming in and gave me my ginger ale for free.. Even offered me a ride back! I enjoy the walk so I thanked him and left - There is nowhere to eat there so I took my food back and ate at my desk... It was absolutely delicious. I know its a basic turkey sandwich, but it was exactly what I wanted - There was a generous amount of "fixins" and the turkey was high quality.. I wouldve liked it to be a bit bigger, but it was still really good. I will definitely be going back for many lunches to come.More
