Stopped off here for a quick bite to eat before heading to airport. What a gem of a place. True authentic Italian pizza, took me back to being in Positano last summer. My teenage son and I were in heaven. Small place, cozy and great...service.More

Always great food and service. WE had the chicken part which was Hugh so my son had to take it home with hi. My daughter and I split a caesar salad and pizza. We were there on a quiet Sunday night and sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and excellent about suggesting entrees to suit our tastes. The portions were very generous-we had leftovers to take back.

The server was great and told us which pastas were homemade (most were) so I could switch it. Everything we ordered was awesome and filling. The grapefruit IPA was amazing

I have never experienced such PERSONAL and KIND service from waitress, Jessica, and the owner/manager, Mike... EVER! My husband and I were staying at a downtown hotel, and went to Market Square to Pizzaiolo Primo, based on my googling nearby places to eat. Menu looked...great, and we were casually dressed, so it seemed like a great choice. YES, it was!!! Jessica informed us of the freshness of their food- homemade pasta and mozzarella daily. We ordered a bottle of wine, shared a ceasar salad, and a margarita pizza. All FRESH, And delicious. Ate and enjoyed every bite! We loved everything- food and service. But then when you think it couldn’t get any better, Mike came over to check if everything was to our satisfaction. Of COURSE it was! What a sweet gentleman!!!! He was so so so kind and genuine, and truly has his heart and soul in his work. We were touched by his attention and dedication to provide excellent food , service, and spread kindness to people! The taramisu was melt in your mouth light, airy, delicious! Thank you , Jessica and Mike for a wonderful evening! 💗 We cant WAIT to return, and will tell all our family and friends to come here!!!!More

Rude waiter who said our choice of Vodka (Tito's) tasted like dirt, Pizza was way overpriced for the mediocre quality. Manager was rude and aggressive. I travel the entire United States for work and I have never been treated so badly. I would recommend that...you go elsewhere for pizza. Terribly Disappointed. I would rather go to Domino's Pizza instead of this Pizza PlaceMore

We tried 2 pizza styles, the gnocchi and a specialty salad (small was enough for 3) and everything was both tasty, served hot and well presented. Nice server too!

2 couples ate at Primo for birthday celebration. All meals great. Cheese ravioli, veal piccata, and cavatelli with short ribs all terrific. Stuffed banana pepper appetizer was quite good and spicy. Portions sizable. Atmosphere casual and comfortable. Could eat there week after week. Manny

It was a visit brought by chance. We got stuck in Pittsburgh after a w end due to a bad snow storm towards Canada. We got to Primo for a quick lunch on a Monday. We were treated like royalty, the pizza maker went the...extra mile to make my son happy with his white pizza. Incredibly tasty the eggplant parmigiana, amazing the hand made mozzarella cheese. I got a NY steak on a bed of tagliatelle ai funghi. A full meal in itself. This is now my favourite Italian eatery in downtown Pittsburgh. Bravi.More

The waitress was so friendly, the menu had many options, the...food came out in a good time and it was hot. two people at our table had the eggplant parmesan had LOVED IT! I had a salad with shrimp. It was fantastic! We have been here several times and it is always delicious, friendly & clean. We will return.More
