If you're looking for great Chinese food in downtown Pittsburgh, look no further. We tried this restaurant based on a "Chinese Food Near Me" query to Siri. We lucked out! I've been so dissatisfied with other Chinese food I've eaten recently, but the Chinatown Inn did not disappoint. Even though we arrived at 10:00pm, the staff was friendly, the restaurant... More

Nice quiet atmosphere and good basic Chinese food. The servers were very nice, and the restaurant was much nicer inside than the exterior suggested.

We ordered tons and food for take out and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered a lot of food but we did not really have to wait to get it. THe mushu is absolutely a must. If you are looking for noodles try the chow fun. If you are looking for good Chinese try this place!

We ended up here simply because it was within walking distance of our hotel on Bigelow Street. They have all of the Chinese restaurant standard entrees and a bar. My wonton soup was great.

Good place with lots of tables which is easier for a business lunch verses a booth. The menu was large but has many good choices. Both colleagues ordered soup and entrees and very satisfied with their meals. I ordered gluten free and left there very full. It's not the easiest place to find and the outside is very deceiving compared... More

It had been years since we last died at the Chinatown Inn & actually could not recall why we stopped going there. On a recent Sunday we decided last minute to take advantage of dinner at Chinatown Inn. A very nice crowd was already inside enjoying their dinner. Everything we ordered was super yummy. In fact, it may have been... More

My husband and I ate here for dinner on a Saturday evening. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant and we were able to find a spot easily. We were seated promptly. Service and food were excellent. We ordered egg roll, fried rice, and a shrimp dish. Everything came out hot and was very good. We will... More

Service was fast and prompt. The hot tea served at the table was excellent. Crab rangoons were very good. I had the general tso's chicken white meat only- very good., was a large serving- two of us brought half of it home. The hot and sour soup was not very spicy, but was substantial in meat and vegetables in the... More

Went there on a Saturday night with my two buddies as we were looking for some good Chinese food. What we got greatly exceeded our expectations! All three of our dishes and appetizers were delicious.
