Please give Mr Lee & his family business. I live 45 minutes away and assumed they were doing well but sadly they've been SLOW through the pandemic. This is my favorite restaurant. Always fresh so you can eat the same thing every time and it...still taste different. LOVE that! My 16 yr old son has been eating their fresh spring rolls as soon as he could eat solid foods. The sate soup is delicious. Mixed veggies is another favorite. The curry. . . EVERYTHING! PLEASE support this locally owned business! Take out and they are also open for dine in. CASH only but ATM on siteMore

...I ate in my car. Nothing special going on here. I had to banh mi dac biet (special) sandwich. Thought the bread wasn't exactly the freshest. Maybe the sandwich was overly westernized. Very mushy too. The fresh rolls were ok but a little small. This...place is nothing really the write home about. It was all okay though, and I'm not pissed off that I came here, but I think I'll try someplace else next time I'm looking for Vietnamese in Pittsburgh.More

We’ve had spring rolls in San Francisco, Boston and Pittsburgh and Tram’s has the best tasting spring rolls-hands down! Their lemonade is also excellent and their food is very good. We especially like their vegetarian pho, vegetable fried rice and rice noodles in coconut milk.

We came here after work on a Thursday night. It's located in between Lawrenceville and Bloomfield. There were few tables already and more tables got filled as time went by. We started with spring rolls (veggie with tofu, and shrimp). They were delicious. Two of...us ordered the Hanoi Pho (I got the chicken option). We enjoyed it and thought it was authentic Pho. I would have liked more flavors though. It looks like it's a family-run business and, although it was busy, we got our food in a reasonable time frame. If you're craving Vietnamese food, this is a very good spot in Pittsburgh. Of note, this is a cash only restaurant.More

Came in for a late lunch. The only meal we ate yesterday, but the meat tasted like it was burned in the freezer for months. We both have every symptom of food poisoning. I’m glad Bourdain isn’t alive for this.

This is not a romantic date restaurant, but instead the sort of place where you know that you're eating fantastic family food and getting it for a very good price. We visited as a family of 3. My son had beef pho, my husband the...Saigon soup, and I had chicken with lemongrass. We started with shrimp and pork spring rolls. Wow. Everything was fresh and tasty, with really vibrant, wonderful flavors. The chicken with lemongrass was exactly what I was hoping for, and I had a taste of the other dishes too, and was really impressed. I have nostalgic memories of a similar place where I went to college, so visiting Tram's Kitchen was like going back in time, in a really wonderful way. We will be back. Don't forget: cash only, but there's an ATM in the vestibule!More

Stopped here on the way through town. The pho was really good. The broth was really delicate and flavorful. We also ordered a peanut based soup. It was ok, but not nearly on the level of the pho.

Everything ordered was very good. 2 different pho bowls and one noodle dish all were very good. Could have had 5 stars if there was more meat in the pho. Egg rolls were hot and delish.

In town for the weekend and we had to "get our Pho on". It's been a long time since we have been to Tram's. Wow! What a great lunch. We had both the fresh spring rolls and the egg rolls and both were very flavorful...and delicious. Two of us had Pho and one had the beef curry and we all truly enjoyed with forks and spoons dipping in each other's plates and bowls. We marveled over the distinct differences between the 2 Pho broths. Both rich and full bodied. Yum...we will put this restaurant back on our weekend routine!More

What I liked - the shrimp spring rolls were incredibly delicious. Best I’ve had. Pho broth was also flavourful. Will be back.

Authentic! Good portion sizes, not too big, not too small. Decent prices & fresh! No reservations taken, cash only, & street parking only. Ample street parking though! The menu is limited. I do highly suggest that, if you don’t want to smell like food, to...not wear your nicest there.More

in town for some R&R. Reviewers talked this place up, was a nice find. beef pho particularly good with very fresh ingredients, rich broth, and a surprising amount of meat. Too bad I don't live closer or I'd make this a regular stop.
