Lidia's was ok, not the exceptional experience the four of us had expected. The restaurant itself had nice ambiance, and our server was terrific; the caesar salads were very good, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. The pastas were ok and the meats...More

Lidia's is a beautiful restaurant close by the Heinz History Center. I started with the Caesar salad ($8) which was very large and was served with lots of grated cheese on top. The salad dressing was already coating the romaine and had a hint of...More

I watch Lidia all the time on PBS and love her recipes. I had to add Lidia's on my list for when I visit my sister and brother-in-law. The experience did not disappoint. My husband and I began with the meatball appetizer. Two meatballs are...More

We stopped here during a downpour when we needed dinner. Nice ambience and incredibly helpful and welcoming serving staff. The food let this place down. Meatballs and Ziti pasta was tasteless and they had smothered it in cheese to compensate. No pizza which was surprising....More

We enjoy the TV show and thought we were going to get some special Italian food. It is extremely Americanized Italian food. Nothing special and the food was average and averaged priced. The wine was extremely expensive. Service was excellent. Not heading to St. Louis...More

We chose Lidia's because I was craving Italian and everything downtown seemed tacky or expensive - this place seemed in the middle. Mixed reviews on the place. It was huge, which makes me question the quality to feed such a large restaurant. We chose the...More
