Lucky to find that there was a Lidia Bastianich restaurant on my business trip to Pittsburgh. My last evening I enjoyed the three pasta special and can highly recommend the smoked goat cheese ravioli. Just delicious. Service was wonderful, pleasant dining room, and easy walk from my downtown hotel. Have been raving about that ravioli ever since….and I had them... More

Joined my friends who made reservations and had an enjoyable dinner at a decent price in a very nice restaurant. Reservations were difficult to arrange since one night they were closed for a private party and the next night had limited seating since it is a popular place. We enjoyed the lemon chicken capers dish, risotto, Caesar salad and her... More

The place is well staffed! Atmosphere is very nice. The food tastes like it is home made. You know how you make a dish on your own and when you are eating it you are thinking that it wasn't the greatest recipe and you won't be making that again? And your family was like, well at least is smells really... More

Went here for lunch and had the pasta tasting trio. With a salad and all you can eat pasta for $17 it was a great value. Very quiet at lunch time so the service was great. 2 out of the 3 pastas were the best I have ever had and the third was pretty good too. I would highly recommend... More

Four of us were first timers at Lidia's in Pittsburgh and have to say the flavors were superior. Two of us had Salmon on a Bed of Asparagus and Fregola, Mustard Sauce. The other two meals was Triple Pasta with wide noodles. The sauces used were fantastic.

Wow. I'm pretty confident that you (or anyone who still has their taste buds and loves Italian food) will love eating here, so I really only have one word of advice: Come hungry. Seriously. The next time I'm going to Lidia's I will most likely skip lunch (and even breakfast), beforehand. The menu is pretty extensive with regular specials, brunch... More

We found the food pricey but it was the best food we ate in Pittsburgh. The octopus appetizer sounded like it would be weird with capers, olives, wine, freesia, etc. but was delicious. There was a generous complimentary bread basket with a variety of items, served with two tasty spreads. The 3 pasta tasting fixe prix was fine, but one... More

Not as good as I remembered. We have visited on several occasions for both brunch and dinner. This time was brunch. The drinks were a Mimosa and Bloody Mary. Both were watered down. I ordered the pasta trio and my husband the trout. We started with the Antipasto bar which had a variety but only food that stood out was... More

This place was good but pricey, celebrated my mothers birthday here. The servers who's name escapes me was absolutely amazing. The food was above average, but not worth the price

We celebrated my wife's birthday on June 30 th. The restaurant was not crowded, the service was excellent and the food was very good, but pricey. Two of us had the pasta trio special with the Caesar salad and the dessert. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I did find the Ceasar salad to be over dressed. The lemoncello tiramisu was... More
