These wings were finger licking good. They are always Beth nice when you place your orders. I always get the teriyaki wings. They are 6 STARS PLEASE TRY THEM. And the avocado sauce is great with it as well

I had nachos on plantains, chorizo queso fundido, and the tropical paella. The first two are great share plates for friends. All are delicious, especially the nachos on plantains. They were doing half price cocktail happy hour when we were there. A great little escape on a hot sunny day.

We had high expectations for this restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not leave up to the hype. When we arrived, late on a weekday, they took forever to seat us in spite of having an empty table. The food was average at best. The service was uninterested and excruciatingly slow. We got the impression that eating there was an imposition on... More

Shrimp and scallop ceviche appetizer was excellent. I would have been happy with two orders and said that was my dinner. Tropical paella was the entree and it was also very good. Flavorful and fresh. Dessert was a must - chocolate banana bread pudding was the best! Definitely will go back. We dined outside. Waiter was very attentive and made... More

I thought Kaya had a great menu with lots of variety and Caribbean-inspired. Lots of spices and flavors in their dishes. I enjoyed the Kaya burger and thought it was very rich and the meat cooked to my likings. The guacamole had mango and pineapple, which I thought was a nice addition. Our waiter was attentive and overall great. The... More

Nice place to have Caribbean cuisine. The service was excellent with the waitress handling our table being very attentive to our needs and suggesting some good cocktails and food.

I love Kaya but after buying a place on Siesta Key I'm now a Fish Taco snob. Kaya "86" the Tilapia on your fish taco. Grouper or Mahi Mahi if you have to raise the price, do it.... You are way to good of a resterant to serve this inferior Fish Taco. Taco PERFECT-Ingredients/Topping PERFECT-Portion Size PERFECT-Fish Stinks

My wife and I and our three daughters (in their 20's) visited the United States (NY - PA - OH - CHICAGO) for two weeks and by far, the best restaurant we dined at had to be Kaya. For one, all of us, with exception of my wife, love spicy food, although my wife does it enjoy the milder side.... More
