The ladies and I decided to try something new. We found ourselves in the strip district at a popular place called Kaya. It's a Jamaican restaurant, with a cool, hip vibe! The food is good, reasonably priced and the staff is amazing! We ate, laughed, and lingered for a while. I had the fried chicken sandwich, my friend had a... More

My brother and his family were in town with me and we were roaming the Strip District. We ate here for lunch on a Saturday. It was not too crowded and we had great service. I ordered the carribean rainbow salad, which I think was one of the best salads I have ever had! It was awesome. The 3 others... More

We had a small group meet there for brunch last week. The food and drinks were very good and the service was pretty good too. Definitely a place to keep in the rotation.

We went to the strip district on a Monday and pretty much all the restaurants were closed. This place and maybe a couple of others were the only ones open. So we gave it a try. The atmosphere is nice....couldn't really figure out what type of restaurant from the menu. Food was just okay. Priced reasonable. Beer selection was good.... More

Had a wonderful brunch at Kaya with the ladies in my book club. Everything we ordered was very good. Drinks, apps, entrees. (Highly recommend the Rainbow Salad.) Many of us tried the Tikki #7 cocktail, and we loved it. Nice variety of food options on the menu. Service was timely, and the restaurant's atmosphere was relaxing. Sunday brunch gets crowded... Great atmosphere in the center of the Strip District in Pittsburgh. Island / Caribbean ? Latin inspired dishes. We had Paella, Shrimp and Scallop Ceviche, and Fish Tacos. The Ceviche was honestly one of the best things i have eaten in my life. Fresh, sweet, tart, flavorful...really really good. All food choices were excellent. Good prices. Will make a stop... More

Slow service, and guacamole with mango and pineapple not suited for my taste. Also, for a party of 7, the amount of chips in a serving is hardly sufficient. Brunch menu leaves some to be desired.

My husband came here on business in the beginning of August. He fell in love with this place. He had a coconut chicken Caribbean style stir fry. The gracious owner came out and he said she was super friendly and a gracious woman. Will go back anytime we go to Pittsburgh!

These wings were finger licking good. They are always Beth nice when you place your orders. I always get the teriyaki wings. They are 6 STARS PLEASE TRY THEM. And the avocado sauce is great with it as well
