Wonderful selection of fresh seafood. Anything you can imagine - live lobsters, shellfish, many types of fish fillets, sushi and much more. Great butcher shop and produce as well. Many daily specials and fun atmosphere - many times they are shucking oysters right out side the front door!

Good portion size, the novelty of being able to tour the rest of the fish market, and the low prices make this worth visiting.

Wholeys has been around forever. They now have introduced a one pound fish sandwich for $10. Following the lead of those in front of me in the line I ordered the sandwich and 2 extra buns. There is more then enough for three sandwiches. For $3 more you get a ton of fries and slaw. Great Deal!

We stopped to buy some fish and stayed for lunch. First, the market: everything fresh you can imagine. Fish of all types - fresh, frozen, whole, filleted. We decided to have lunch and we had fish sandwiches. A half pound of fresh fried cod on a soft roll. Just delicious. They have lots of choices from clams, calamari, lobster Mac... More

This is my must go to place whenever I go to Pittsburgh. I usually get the cod sandwich with onion rings, and it's big enough to share

The food was tasty, but the seating area was dirty. No one cleaned tables or floors after guests left.

We stopped for lunch on July 2. We each had the cod fish sandwich. A half pound ( they weigh it) of lightly batter fried cod on your choice of bun. We added onion rings and fries as sides and a drink and for about 20 bucks you have a super lunch for 2. When you are done eAting you... More

If your in the strip around lunch time stop by and get your self a fish sandwich. Cod or white fish. The sandwiches are huge and they make them fresh while you wait. You can eat in their dinning room upstairs and take you time to enjoy your food then go downstairs and see the best seafood selection in Pittsburgh.... More
