We ate at Casbah on New Year's Eve and everyone made a huge effort to be sure our dining experience was excellent. I had one of their speciality seafood pasta's and they make their own pasta on site - so so delicious - actually the...More

First, the ease of making a reservation. Full marks. Second, the arrival: valet parking on a wet and cold evening was helpful. Third, seating, it took a few moments, but it was a busy evening. Good. Fourth, ambience: There is an extended outdoor (but covered...More

Good food and great wait staff, but the evening was ruined when the parking valet was astonishingly rude to several customers.

I’m critical of restaurant crab cakes because so often they are so bready. These were perfect with moist delicious crab. Very delicate seasoning allowed the crab to be the focus. Other salads on the tables rooked terrific.

The Casbah has been around for a long time, and it continues to please. The food is excellent and the quality and service are consistently good. It does not disappoint.

My wife and I went here for a date night. We ate “outside” which really isn’t but gave a slight feel like you are. She had the sword fish and liked it as she’s really only a salmon fish eater. I had the scallops, crab,...More

Mediterranean restaurant in busy neighborhood near Shadyside. The place was buzzing and hopping on a Saturday night. Definitely recommend reservation. Service was approapriately attentive. White table cloths yet still enough of a casual, comfortable atmosphere. Table of 6, we were all out of towners -...More

Casbah surprised me with the choices of wines from France, Italy, Spain and Portugal - well represented and selected for that region, which also pair nicely with the food. Atmosphere is a bit old fashion but the food is super. Ask for recommendation of wines...More

Consistently good. We've been there a dozen or more times and have had great food and service every time. Menu varies enough to be interesting. Lunch is a good way to try it out. Also love the company that owns Casbah for how they support...More

Not comfortably - I would think it could fit 20 people total and not a lot of space to move around and chat for a group that size
