This place was recommended to me by someone who used to live in Pittsburgh. This was by far the best restaurant I ate at during the week! Great views of the city and outstanding food. Wait staff also was great. We ate in the bar downstairs but doesn't feel like a bar as the restaurant part down there was great... More

I totally should have taken pictures of the food but after one bite of the Crab cake, I kept on eating. Well seasoned, broiled with very little breading to hold the cakes together. Maybe one side to share but it is well filling. Cheers

The food is very good. But the view is what is outstanding. I asked that my entree be split and they declined. I wasn't trying to be cheap--but someone wanted a bite. They said that since it was a bone-in steak they couldn't do it. It made it a bit awkward for me to then do it at the table.... More

Awesome view. Wait till sunset and enjoy the skyline. Ladies: it was a bit chilly so make sure to bring a blazer so something in case you get cold. We had glass of champagne at the bar and then moved to the dining room for dinner. Appetizers were delicious, especially the seafood skewer. The lobster rolls were a disappointment, mostly... More

I must dine experience while visiting Pittsburgh. The views are amazing, the seafood selections on the menu are wonderful and the service is exceptional. We would definitely recommend a stop here while in Pittsburgh.

Service was outstanding. The hostess ensured we got the best table in the restaurant, with a beautiful view. Our waitress was very attentive, and the manager came to greet us at the table, adding to the excellent service. The food was delicious, I ordered crab cakes and my husband the cajun style Snapper, both very good. Highly recommend.

The restaurant sits high on the hill across the river from downtown Pittsburgh. The views are spectacular. Extensive variety of fresh fish flown in daily and many choices of preparation. Everything was delicious but my favorite was the rockfish with a Parmesan crust. Don't miss the key lime tart for dessert. Outstanding service.

The view of downtown Pittsburgh from the restaurant is fantastic as advertised. While our meals and service were very good, we were definitely paying for the view. My biggest concern was the wine list. The vintages listed were not the same as were available. At this price point most patrons probably don't care, but oneophiles will take exception.

W visited the Monterey Bay Fish Grotto on top of Mount Washington in Pittsburgh last weekend and had a wonderful time. This was our first visit with our kids (9 and 11). Everyone, from the front desk to our server, was exceptionally kind and professional. I'm sure some restaurants, especially those considered fine dining hesitate when they see younger kids... More

We went here during a two-day visit to Pittsburgh to celebrate a milestone anniversary and we're delighted with a very nice dinner for the occasion. Great seafood choices, nice service, and the restaurant gave a delicious dessert on the house. Topping this off were the marvelous views of Pittsburgh's downtown from our table.
