Hands down this is one of the best breakfast places in Pittsburgh and I have been here many times in my life but today was different. The young man who was manning the register basically yelled at me and my family as we entered the building. I was really insulted and should have left, but we wanted our daughter to... More

Waaaay overrated. I see people on Saturdays and Sundays waiting in line to get into the restaurant and honestly there are two much better places. Pamelas's and personal favorite Kelly O's which is two blocks away. Agree with a previous review, restaurant is not the cleanest and food only so so at best. Staff is good though.

Located in the strip district, this is definitely the place to visit if your looking for a unique and delicious breakfast. Their menu has something for everyone from burritos to pancakes. I ordered the Funky Monkey Pancake Sundae and it was the perfect amount of sweet. The prices for items range from $8 to $12 and the portions are very... More

Walked here from out hotel while visiting Pittsburgh over the weekend. It was crowded for 11AM on a Friday but we were seated right away. The menu is a bit overwhelming but there is definitely something for whatever breakfast mood you are in. Our table got combo meals and it was a lot of food for the price. Despite being... More

We were told to go here by the hotel. I'm from NJ and love a good diner. This isn't one of them. The diner was dirty. Coffee was cold, and the eggs over easy swimming in grease. I got sick. You have been warned. (The waitress was very nice. That was it.)

Such amazing food here. You can order anything on the menu here and will not be disappointed. It's got that diner feel, and great service! Get there early though, because it's extremely popular! Also they only take cash, but there is an atm extremely close

Having grown up in a typical Philly neighborhood I felt right at home at Deluca's. The street and the restaurant transported me back to my childhood. The food line, the counter stools, the friendly wait staff all made the experience special. My wife and I stuck with the usual breakfast fare. French toast, eggs and bacon, hash browns, toast and... My family takes an annual trip to Pittsburgh every year and honestly the thing I look forward to the most is going here. I love the cool retro-space theme and the Crêpes are unbelievable. Highly recommend.

Busy location, huge breakfasts, very tasty. Where Harry Met Sally was filmed. French toast is delicious and humongous! Corn beef hash also superb!

Hello Jeff, as much as we would love to take credit for the Harry Met Sally diner scene we just can't, not filmed at DeLuca's in the strip. However, "Passed Away" was filmed here and "Jack Reacher" starring Tom Cruise was filmed here; but most importantly, we are glad to know you enjoyed your dining experience with us! Thanks for... I enjoyed going to this diner for the first time. It was very busy and they handled the morning crowd very well! Everything was delicious and the servings are huge!! If I ever make it back to Pittsburgh I will be sure to head over there for a breakfast!

Description
DeLuca's in the Strip District of Pittsburgh is the original DeLuca's Diner. Our diner is an old fashioned diner that has been in business since 1950. The new owners have owned and operated DeLuca's for over 25 years now maintaining the nostalgic feel and look of the original diner. DeLuca's is located on Penn Avenue, just look for the rooster on top of our building!
