I took a friend who is new to the area there for lunch. The food was delicious and it was a beautiful day to eat outside. She also loved the tour of the house and the way each room is created.

Was looking for a bite in an area dominated by chain restaurants and found this wonderful surprise. Very European: a retail craft shop that also functions as a restaurant. The food is uniformly excellent, the atmosphere is cozy as it gets, and the staff is...lovely. It’s a unique experience in an entirely unexpected area.More

Friends of ours gave us a gift certificate for this place. I'm glad they did! We had a great lunch on the wrap around porch on an absolutely gorgeous day. The food was excellent, the service friendly and fun. They were having a Mad Hatter...tea party on the lawn while we there complete with costumes. It looked like fun! Then we went shopping. The circa 1906 house was packed with great little finds, a great place for finding interesting gifts for those on your list. We'll definitely be back for brunch!More

Enjoyed a lovely brunch (not a buffet) on a Sunday with some family -- very quaint setting in a house that was a combo gift shop/restaurant, each room had a couple tables so the dining guests could have some privacy, which was very nice for...our get together. Menu was small, but enough to have a nice selection. A couple of us enjoyed the quiche, others had the french toast. Service was good, a bit pricey, but typical for a unique environment.More

Stopped here with friends for lunch. Place not to crowded for a friday afternoon. Lisa was our server and she was great. Pleasant, informative of the menu and just nice. We ordered the crab bisque wihich was so good. The bacon quiche was good, as...was the spinach salad. Nice leisurely lunch. The property is nice. Parking ample.More

Upon the recommendation of a friend we visited the restaurant for lunch and found it to be a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located in a well restored Victorian home. Also included is a gift shop and a flower shop, neither of which detract from...the restaurant. The menu is sufficiently varied to cater to most tastes, ranging from salads and sandwiches to crab cakes. The service was excellent as was the food. A very nice setting in which to enjoy good food, service and a relaxed ambiance.More

This is the second time my book club has met for a nice event to welcome the spring together. We did not specifically book a tea event, but the menu selection for just a regular Sunday late morning visit was delightful! I arrived before the...other ladies in my party, so I got to enjoy shopping around downstairs in the store. I just loved so many of the gifts available for purchase! The clothing and accessory items were very delicate and simply lovely. As for my food - it was delightful! I ordered the Irish Oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts and just loved it! The selection of teas was quite nice, too. One friend also had tea and another friend ordered an egg entree with a cappuccino and thought it was scrumptious! After our meal, we all went upstairs to look at more gift items and loved the huge selection up there! Upon leaving, I called my mother-in-law and have plans to take her when she visits next from the midwest. :-) ~~Sharon H.More

My sisters and I met for lunch here recently and it was the most relaxing, pleasant time! Soft music in the background, wonderful food, and all sorts of beautiful gifts on 2 floors to explore; we actually hated to leave, but we can't wait to...go back again! Our waiter Tim was so nice, polite and helpful with our food decisions, and Lisa the hostess is awesome!More

If you love fresh flowers, you will love Oberer's. They have a variety of flowers and greenery, loose as well as arrangements. Even if you're searching at the last minute, they always have ready to go arrangements at several price points, and can usually deliver...the same or next day locally. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had found a special place. The atmosphere and ambience are creative and welcoming, the service and attention superb, and the food... the food is exquisite, and a feast for the eye! This was our 2nd visit (1st time was for afternoon tea) this time it was for Brunch which was also delicious! I'm less adventurous when it comes to selections, so I stuck with an omelette! It was delectable and many of the choices all sounded...fantastic! Everything tastes fresh! My mom and I enjoy going there, because it provides a relaxing atmosphere and ambience like home. We travel about an hour to get there, but it is worth the drive!!! Side note: The afternoon tea is not to be missed! Love this place!More

Beautifully decorated old mansion is a wonderful place for an afternoon tea. We had the Chef's Choice Tea which included raspberry lavender scones, egg salad, chicken salad and cucumber tea sandwiches. The cookies for dessert were perfect. The tea box offered a dozen different teas.... Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waiter Tim was kind and helpful. This was a lovely place to have lunch on a fall afternoon.More

Hi Cynthia, I would say to come dressed up and have a hat if you would like to. That is not required and not everyone dresses up for the tea. Its not required. I hope that helps. Ken
