Not like tapas you have in Barcelona, but really similar. Not a lot to eat and expensive but really good.

First time here, the tapas was generally very good, but the cheese treatments are excellent. The fried manchego with quince was outstanding. The regular cheese plate had great elements. The wine suggested to us was delicious and from the area of Spain the owner is from. The dessert was FANTASTIC! Caramel flan and chocolate mousse which sound like could be... More

This is one of the best kept secrets in Pittsburgh. Authentic Spanish tapas and paella. This is, by far, one of our most favorite restaurants. If you have never tasted authentic paella, then we highly recommend you try it here. We only wish that the chef would bring back the paella variations that used to be offered in his previous... The restaurant was easy to find, offered a very comfortable atmosphere, and great food. There were photos on the wall from the area of Spain the owner is from. Nice music, at a level which allowed comfortable conversation. Our waiter was excellent, offering help and advise when asked. Appetizers were very good, including Queso Frito, the meat plate, and the... More

Having recently been in Spain we were looking forward to comparing the food. Meeting friends that we see once or twice a year a long evening of conversation was what we hoped for. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable and we tried everything, the Paella was authentic and the service was unobtrusive but helpful. In short the evening... More

There are has been a lot of pretenses of offering Spanish Tapas , but Pallantia is the real thing and Pittsburgh need to support authenticity . The Restaurant is elegant and quiet , the food is excellent and the Paella exceed expectation even for some one that know the real thing in Spain. The Restaurant is new in the city,... More

The five of us had a good meal and good service on Saturday night. My favorite was the Queso Frito but we scarfed everything. Don't pass up the sage ice cream if they have it - surprisingly delicious.

You can't be serious, previous reviewer! By far the least over-seasoned tapas experience ever! 3 of us went thru grilled octopus, lamb sliders with blue cheese dressing, flank steak sampler and chorizo platas. There is far more than "garlic" in the air at this place. All unique flavors with no chance for "palate fatigue", that's the beauty of tapas experience.... More

This restaurant smells like garlic and the food is laden with an overwhelming amount of garlic. I like garlic when it tastes good but the amounts of garlic used in their food is sickening. This is also one of those restaurants where the chef does not want diners to have salt or pepper available. When asked for them we were... More
