Nola on the Square is one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh! I have been there many times and now I finally have decided to do a review on them. First off the atmosphere here takes me back to when I visited New Orleans. Next the drink menu is fantastic and the manager there is very knowledgeable on it. The... More

Muffuletta Flatbread was tasty with crispy edges. Creole Pulled Pork Po Boy was good but meat was dry.....needed more sauce. Catfish Po Boy was okay.....fish tasted metallic. We would not return.

Good size portions that will keep you going for the rest of the day. Excellent friendly service, that were attentive to my gluten and dairy intolerant girlfriend. Our server spent time going through the menu and double checked with kitchen about cross contamination, which she appreciated as many catering places forget this aspect. Good choice of beers and wines. Food... More

the live music is great, but loud. We sat near the back of the restaurant so we could hear both the music and ourselves. We both had the shrimp and grits with bacon. Great Cajun flavors in Pittsburgh.

We went there for lunch and asked if they had any Gluten free choices or menus. They were very helpful and said that almost everything could be prepared gluten free, but they did not have any gluten free bread. Hard to find that in Pittsburgh. Anyway, the food was good, but it took over an hour to get it and... More

On Market Square in downtown Pittsburg, a nice option for dinner featuring cajun cuisine. Great outside seating, inside, nice looking bar and table area. Service was spotty throughout the night but food was excellent. Great Jambalaya. Great dessert. Very fair pricing for dinner in a major city.

Nice locale, good atmosphere, very good food. My daughter tried gator for the first time, and said it was the best steak she had ever had. The food was very tasty and well prepared. All around very good meal, if maybe just a bit pricey.

Enjoyed a nice dinner outdoors on the patio. Had the fried green tomatoes which were my favorite!! Also had the pork sliders and voodoo fries. All delicious!!! Nice selection of beer as well. Service was pleasant and welcoming.
