Read reviews, wanted to eat close to my airport hitel and decided to go. It was basic Italian American fare, but minus a basics. Pasta was overcooked and everything seemed to be off a little bit. Example: Order melon and prosciutto and it was definitely not prosciutto. More like ham. My lemon chicken Romans was fried chicken served with a... More

We dine her often and enjoy the food. I like the spicy hot peppers for an appetizer and I like the chicken marsala. The pasta dishes are good too. It is a step up from an olive garden or Bucca.

The Good: Great service, good desserts, very clean, great family or date night atmosphere. The Bad: Overpriced... $12 for a Mimosa? $15 for a brunch egg frittata? Seriously? Looking over the menu, many other items were quite pricey for what they were. Pasta shouldn't be that expensive. My sister decided to make reservations for brunch on Mother's Day and treat... More

My sister and I were looking online for a place that was equidistant for several of us to meet for dinner. Ciao2 popped up and it was a great location and we loved the menu. My mouth was watering all day in anticipation of the Linguini Cannovato, pasta with langostinos and shrimp. Unfortunately many of the items on the online... More

The menu on line sounded delicious and there were daily specials when we arrived. My sister chose a homemade soup which she assured us tasted even better than it smelled. I ordered a steak entrée which proved to be done to perfection and very tender and savory. I ate every morsal. My sister liked the marinara sauce a lot. The... More

A friend and I stopped for an early dinner. The Settlers ridge area is busy but we stopped here and were able to get a quiet Italian meal. The bread and holy water dipping sauce were very good and the spinach and artichoke dip was excellent. The speciality cocktail was great. The entrees were large and good. It was a... More

The owner/waiter's manner, at first, comical, even charming, in a quirky way, quickly became condescending and pretentious. Anticipating the patron's wishes is a good thing, being presumptuous and inattentive, no so much. He would do well to devote greater effort towards listening to his customer requests and answers than listening to himself pretentiously twirling his "r's". The food is good... More

Though Ciao 2 was not as great as we had expected from a recommendation, it was still very good. Our group of seven had seven different dishes, and all were very good. An appetizer of zucchini "matchsticks" which were more shaped liked fries were excellent, and the bread was very good. My papardelle bolognese was very good, yet not as... More

Some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted. This was my second time at Ciao 2, and the food was great both times. Some of the best Tiramisu I have ever had!

Ciao 2!'s is now the fourth generation of a traditional Italian trattoria! We are a special combination of style and substance, a restaurant known for its craft beers, boutique wines, and classic Italian cuisine! Chef Sabrina, a native Pittsburger, carefully sources local produce and food stuffs whenever possible. Our chef has created brunch, lunch, and dinner menus as delicious tributes to the classic trattoria fashion! This being Pittsburgh, it is only reasonable that Ciao2! pays loving attention the liquid side of things. Signature cocktails such as the Tuscan Sour and the Lemoncello martini, are served along side classics like the Ciao2! Manhattan and the Aviation. Several beers are on tap and Nick has created a varied and unique wine list! Ciao2! An Italian Cafe', a salute to classical regional Italian cuisine!
