We went to the Vault Taproom just before everything shut down. If we'd understood the severity of the pandemic, we may have missed it. I'm glad we went and look forward to going back once it's safe to be inside with strangers again with no...masks. The setup at the Vault Taproom is great and even if you don't like beer (I'm not a fan), they have a lot of options. The system with cards and being able to try whatever you want is really fun and delicious. The food was wonderful and there were so many items I want to try on the menu. Looking forward to going back someday...More

Nicely spread out tables and staff wearing masks. The food was yummy. Surprised no nachos for a bar, but food was delicious. Don’t forget to have the calamari. Inside only

Went here and had a Brisket Reuben and tried the Fried Green Tomatoes. The tomatoes were perfect. Had a great breading and were topped with a delicious tomato jam and feta cheese. Yum! Beer wall is a nice concept, though in practice it’s a bit...awkwardly placed and sized, so you aren’t likely to go up over and over to try new things or just hang out near it. At other self pour bars I’ve been to, the beer wall has been focus #1, so it was easier to try LOADS of stuff. Beer seems to be priced comparable to those other places, which is to say, it’s slightly pricier than you’d pay by the pint at a bar (40 cents to 90 cents per ounce, do the math). My main suggestions would be two fold: 1. If it were possible to have more taps, I think that would be nice. 22 beers isn’t necessarily *a ton* but I dunno where’d they put them. 2. Rotate taps more frequently. There are still some beers from opening days a few months back. Some customers won’t go often enough for it to matter, but others like myself, would be way more likely to go if there were 22 new beers every few weeks/month. Other local bars are mixing it up all the time, so they could stand to benefit doing the same. All in all, I was wowed by the food, service, and vibe. The beer was a nice feature, as well. Certainly only improved my experience, at the end of the day!More

The beer tap wall allows you to drink several beers without too many ounces, or feeling like you are holding up a line with "sampling". The food is fantastic. Similar to sampling beers, I love the small plate options where I can try several items...in one sitting. Particular standouts include the calamari, fried green tomatoes and the mac and cheese. Shrimp and grits were also a table favorite. The also have inventive cocktails - loved the Pomchi Smash. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place looks beautiful - would not recognize it from the prior business. Will definitely be back!More

We visited on Friday eve for dinner in a group of 6 of us. The beer system is interesting (self serve and charged by the ounce). Great selection of beers and cider drinks. The food on the other hand was terrible. My burger was overdone,...the bun was stale because it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. My wife’s pulled pork was dried out and lacking flavor. One guy had the ribs and they were also overdone. I forget what one wife had but she said she would never go back.More

The self-serve beer tap wall is awesome. 26 beers/ciders and 4 wines, plus a full-service bar with creative cocktails. The food is fantastic! South fusion...everything we had was awesome. Will be back!

Fun place to go and unwind after work. Great spot for a quick happy hour or a lingering dinner. There were 8 of us for dinner (recommend reservations for larger parties) and we spent hours enjoying appetizers (especially the fried green tomatoes), entrees and variety...of beer, wine and cider pours from The Vault. It was great to try a variety of beverages without breaking the budget. Only thing, would like to see a larger and more reasonably priced wine selection from the wall pours but still tried and enjoyed several beers I wouldn't have otherwise. Great restaurant - looking forward to going back soon.More
