I visited on a busy Saturday morning. Our wait was surprisingly quick. But it was just two of us. My friend recommended the eggs Benedict. And it was very good. Watching around me the omelettes and pancakes looked very good. Will definitely go back.

We've been to the Dor-Stop a few times. The first time I was there, I tried their "famous" pancakes and I was unimpressed. However, I also had the potato pancakes, and those were awesome! The last couple of times we were there, the food was great. The staff was always very friendly and interacted well with our children. My biggest... More

I had the short stack of pancakes, bacon, eggs and home fries. Huge portions that were hot off the grill! Prices are super reasonable! I will visit again!

Wife and I stopped at 7AM on a Saturday. There were 2 waitresses and the place was about 2/3 empty. Our waitress was uncomfortably unfriendly to us, but to people she recognized that came in she was pleasant and chatty. We heard the specials when she was at the table next to ours but she didn’t tell us. After the... More

Using Trip Advisor, we decided to try before leaving Delmont. I had the Burrito and the Husband had Guys Version of the scramble. We were excited to see this place was featured on DDD as we try to find these gems. The food was good, service was good and I highly suggest getting there before 9:30 on a Sunday or... More

Wait staff was great, owner very friendly, food was excellent. When I eat at diners, I always ask for advice as to what to eat, and I'm glad that I did. Cheddar bacon wrap with chicken was good!

Terrible food and service! The people at the door were rude to my dad and refused to seat him (he's 83) merely because my sister was parking the car. Seriously? There were 6 open tables! Once we were finally seated the waitress was rude. Worst of all the over medium eggs I ordered were runny - which is a health... More

The raspberry french toast was out of this world. Gotta get it!! We were just passing through Pittsburgh and wanted to get a real taste of the town. Checked out Diners, Drive Ins and Dives....and ...voila....Dor Stop. Small and ever so good!

This is the perfect place to stop in for your basic breakfast fare. Good coffee. Perfect eggs to order. Nothing fancy. Just perfectly done eggs, french toast, bacon, pancakes. Located in Dormont on Potomac.
