I was very excited about this place, a lot of good remarks. We started with the pastor nachos. We liked the sweet taste of the jalapeño peppers, but the rest was not impressive at all. We also ordered the blue cheese burger and the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was quite insipid and the pork did not taste like the... More

We had a family tradition of meeting in West Chester for lunch the day after Thanksgiving. This is the first year we did not go to Doc MacGrogans (now closed) and Iron Hill got the nod. Great beer, really good French Onion Soup and good service. A bit noisy but it is a brewery setting so noise level was expected.... More

Went here with a work team after a long meeting. They were a very friendly staff and the food and drinks were excellent. The beer selection is fantastic and the meals were hearty and really flavorful. Would certainly recommend.

My family had lunch after church. We started with the cheesesteak egg rolls and seafood bisque. Both of these were great starters. The egg rolls were full of juicy steak meat and cheese. The bisque was creamy and full of fish. For the main meals, we had the Schlachplatte and bacon cheese burgers. I like German food (the only one... More

We love this place. The beers offered are of various types and are slightly above average. The day we visited, there were 8 pumpkin style beers on tap, to help celebrate downtown Phoenixville's Pumpkin Fest. Iron Hill is located on the Main Street of Phoenixville, a very nice small town (beware of the Blob), parking is limited and can be... More

I have been going to Iron Hill since it first opened in Delaware in the 90s. The Phoenixville outpost is a good one, though I was disappointed that the first two beers they listed were suddenly unavailable. The flatbread we had as an appetizer was fine, as was my entree: Iron Hill won't set your world on fire, but it's... More

We had such a brilliant night at Iron Hill this evening, it has a relaxed atmosphere and we tried some excellent beers and lovely food, with well informed and great suggestions from Lauren, who really is an absolute delight. Thank you so much for looking after us! Can't wait to come back!

A spontaneous road trip to the area and we decided to try this place out. I enjoyed the Oktoberfest Schlachplatte with 2 types of sausage, pork cutlet, potatoes, and sauerkraut. I had the seafood bisque as an appetizer. My friends had the crab cakes entree and the meatloaf. Portions were very generous and arrived at the table hot and quickly.... More

Menu selection was amazing. Outdoor seating was unusual, but fun - swing tables. The service was really good - staff was very friendly. Although the menu was a little pricey - the amount of food for the price was equitable. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had early lunch, the salmon and apple/butternut soup were both fantastic. The beer (Octoberfest style) was exceptional. The only thing was the AC was down very low, wish had a sweater on-which detracted from the experience. The apple raised bread pudding was good,
