I have tried several Mexican restaurants...some are good, some are a disaster....this is the best of the bunch. The restaurant itself is not so fancy, it is just a converted store front. But the food is really, really good. I only wish they had more sides to order like tortillas, frijoles, etc. Note that they do not accept credit cards!

If you are looking for cheap food and average flavor then this is the place to try. Not bad but doubt if we would try again. We all had the Quesadillas (chicken, pork and chorizos) the portions are very large but not much flavor. We called ahead and our order was ready when we arrived which was nice.

Recently visited Malvern, PA. We stumbled upon this great restaurant. The service may have been a bit slow, but you can tell the food is being prepared on the spot. The chicken tamales with the red sauce were amazing. The food was pretty authentic and a welcome change to chain Mexican food restaurants. We had a great dinner and the... More

We do take out lunch on a Friday at my office. We decided to try El Burrito since it is getting good reviews from friends. I got the nachos with chicken. It was very good the only thing missing for me was salsa as none came with it. The guacamole had a great flavor. The rest of my associates enjoyed... More

We recently moved to the Oaks neighborhood and driving around we realized there are a lot of restaurants in Phoenixville. We like Mexican food and i rate the place based on the Guacamole they can make because not everyone can make it taste good even using the same ingredients. TO begin with, the place is small but well kept and... More

Came with my wife and daughter. Food was great!!! My wife had Carne Asada, my daughter the Mexican burger, and I had beef tosatada and two tacos Al Pastor. Loved it!!!! Tasted homemade. We'll definitely be coming back.

Worth checking out if you aren't in a hurry. Not much service with this place due to the fact that it's a small business. But food is decent yet some dishes weren't quite traditional Mexican food. Cash only.

The food is good, seems more like Mexican Americana. Service was a bit slow, and we had come an hour before we were to go to the Colonial for a movie. No utensils, had to ask 2 times for a bottle opener and the 3rd time had to get it ourselves. Food took about 45 min to arrive. 6 tables... More

This small Mexican restaurant serves delicious food in a very well decorated setting. Our party of four all enjoyed our meals and would be ready to return again.

Service was good, the atmosphere is average almost fast food like. We all had burritos and shared the nacho dish. None were great, plain and tasteless. It's too bad I was hoping that we found a good restaurant for Mexican food. The search continues.
