Very informal - amazing well prepared food. Not the same old tex-mex Americanized food.BYOB. Family owned and operated. Good for couples, families or solo.

The first time I drove by this place, {when it was a hole-in-the-wall on Main St!?!} I onlly saw it out of the corner of me eye and actually had to drive around the block to make sure I saw what I saw.......A tiny, thin store with a line outside...?!? This has got to be good, right? So I checked them out on-line, {which wasn't EZ since they didn't even have their FB site then!}, and found virtually every review was a FIVE STAR unless they were complaining about the lack of parking or tables.....HEH!?! SO I ordered up some stuff, drove back, parked not close {HEY! It's Phoenixville, right?}, and tipped on in to a place with a line outside still....I must've looked like a true GRINGO to the Boss {father} of the place b/c he asked me right off if I called ahead....I told him I did and he said it would be a few minutes more...HEY! NO problema, I didn't mind, b/c the aromas out of this place were from HEAVEN, and right thru Guatemala, Amigo....WOW!?! Plus I checked out the family in the 'Kitchen' while I waited...El madre, a muchacha and the real boss, la Abuelita, the little Grand Mother ~ They each worked like a well-trained army with each doing their own-thing-behind-the-counter like a well-oiled German Automobile...as they put mine and other orders together like clockwork ~ Anywho, I ordered their Grilled Boneless Pork Ribs which must;ve been divined in heaven but grilled in hell..., and it was SO totally out-of-this-word-FANTABULOUS!!! Comes with black beans, rice & macaroni salad {YUP! I said macaroni salad, Bro!?!} or a green salad...ALL for $11.00...That's right...I died & went to heaven ~ My son got their Pollo Frito {fried chicken} with the same sides ALSO, for an astronomical amount of $11 dolares ~ BOTH meals under $25 and out standing meals they were!!! BOTH dishes were just breathtaking!!! My mouth is actually watering just thinking about writing this review, OK? NOW..., a little while later I look to go again one day, and find a 'MOVED' sign on their door...!?!?! {I almost fainted}...But alas, they only moved around the corner onto Bridge St but NOW share a building with a pizza joint...GO FIGURE!?! Never, EVER saw that B4..., but, who cares..., I was ready to go to Guatemala to get that good crap again, Mon..., Dontcha worry...SO, my son wasn't around and I was a hongry hombre so this time I tried their Pollo Frito...JUST SO AMAZING!!! Crispy outside and glorious, tender dark meat within...Delisioso, Amigo y Amigas ~ Anyway..., don't take my word for it..., OR, even everyone else who dines there...GO...RUN....STAMPEDE sus caballos down to this cucino immediatamente,...!!!! Comprende...?!? BASTA!!!

This place has amazing food. The inside has three very small tables that seat a max of 5 or 6 people. It is not a place you will spend a long time eating your meal. It’s all about getting some great food for a great price. It is also cash only so don’t plan to use a card. All in all a great way to experience some authentic Guatemalan food.

Food is good here, we had the pork, steak and chicken combo it comes with beans and rice and macaroni salad and tortillas. I am not sure how clean this place is though, my wife saw the lady wash her gloves and go back to making the tortillas and I saw the guy who was waiting on guest go over to the grill wipe off a spatula with his apron and proceeded to flip something on the grill.

This tiny hole-in-the-wall place is a foodie's jackpot. The food is as authentic as the ambiance of a genuine Mom and Pop establishment. This is definitely a no-frills place, and the food speaks for itself. Everything is freshly prepared, and the flavors are bold and delicious. We had a huge chicken quesadilla and an order of sopes that were pure heaven. With only 3 small tables, seating is at a premium. For authentic homemade Central American cuisine, it is hard to beat this place. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are extremely generous. You won't leave here hungry.

This is a small charming takeout place that has authentic Guatemalan food. The menu is not extensive, it's a no frills place, just good hearty food for great prices. I always get the tacos al pastor, can't beat it!

Hole in the wall, close to downtown. No tables, so take out. Best to order in person, despite the wait unless you've been there before and understand menu. Very tasty and authentic dishes reasonably priced.

The magnet for This place is the food. There is no charm. There is barely a place to sit; a few small uncomfortable looking tables and chairs. But the food was divine. Sampled and would recommend the Pupupas (stuffed masa) and the Pariilladas which is a sample platter. There is no wait staff; you are almost in the kitchen and you give your order to the kitchen staff if you walk in or call ahead. We did the former and watched as this staff silently and efficiently went about putting it together. Next time we will call ahead but there will be a next time.
