If you are a food enthusiast I highly recommend you check this place out! It's just amazing what the chef does to make the dishes unique and absolutely delicious. Make sure you call ahead for reservations because it's a quaint restaurant with seating for a limited amount of guests, which actually adds to it's appeal. Also make sure you allow... More

By FAR the most exquisite meal I''ve ever had! A delightful onion tart and spring greens as an appetizer. The onions were perfectly caramelized with a light egg top crust. For my entree, I chose the grouper (fish) served on creamy butternut squash with a subtle, nutty pistachio sauce. The flavors were simply a perfect marriage! Even the coffee made... More

I have dined at Maize probably 5 times and the experience is the same, unbelievable food, great service and a very long dinner which is the only reason why I can't rate this place 5 stars. From the homemade muffins and popcorn to start to the terrific entrees, there is nothing to love about this place. Small, quaint, just the... More

Recently went to a 5 course tasting here. Food was superb. The restaurant was small and cozy. Service was wonderful; the only negative was that we were seated late by 45 minutes. If you have time, please try this restaurant, but don't have a time limit.

This BYO restaurant has an interesting menu. We have only been there once because reservations are required and we tend to go out spontaneously. It is located near the center of picturesque Perkasie. We though it was a bit over-priced, but, being locals, we will try it again sometime.

We have been dining at Maize since they opened nearly seven years ago and have never been less than thrilled with our experiences. This evening we did the five course tasting menu with our friends and it was the best meal we all agreed to date. Starters were grilled marinated shrimp with braised cabbage in a shellfish sauce, delicious. Next... More

Our second visit here was as enjoyable as the first. Don provided excellent service along with a nice sense of humor. Appetizers to dessert were incredible and plated beautifully. I brought candles for Don to place on our dessert for hubby's birthday and the dessert we chose was the polenta cake with olive oil ice cream -- Tasty and different.... More

Hands down the best restaurant experience I've ever had, including over frequent visits to Philadelphia restaurants. Such fantastic food, and a relaxed atmosphere that is a wonderful respite. You will not be disappointed by the food or service. Tips: don't forget it's BYO; leave at least 2 hours for dinner for 2 (you'll need it!)

We visited Maize on a Friday evening and were able to get a same day reservation. My husband heard great things about the restaurant and really wanted to eat there. I was along for the ride, and not disappointed! Plan to spend some time dining there. Every course is prepared with extreme detail, which takes time but is delicious! The... More
