Was recommended by friends so we tried it and found it to be the best Italian food in the area. Had been wanting to find a place like this for 5 years and tried all the locals but this one is the best! Service was...great! Lexi took care of us both times we've been there and she was terrific! Food portions are generous and delicious. Pricing was very reasonable too.More

We had a lovely meal here with a gift certificate we were given from friends. When we were done the waitress informed us that we had $35 left on the gift certificate but that they have a "no balance" policy. Nowhere on the certificate did...it mention this ridiculous policy. She said it was an old certificate and the new ones mention it. So don't buy your friends a gift certificate to this restaurant if you don't to waste some of your money.More

Have been there twice now for dinner in the last month. Lexi was our waitress both times and her service was great! You get dinner, not ala carte. BYOB location. Garlic rolls are automatic but I was able to order them plain. Starter salad is...generous and they serve Ken's dressing. Portions are very generous and taste great. Southern Italian. Have not ordered dessert as was too full. Including tip, under $50 for 2. Will be going back regularly.More

We came here during Covid and the staff was awesome and food was great. I love the casale appetizer and go back and order just that! I got pasta with blistered tomatoes, chicken and spinach, the sauce had so much flavor and was awesome! A...lot of Italian places can be somewhat bland and basic but I loved their pasta and appetizer! Will definately be returning! And it's BYOB so another great plusMore

e went several times when this place first opened, and the food was very yummy. We forgave some glitches in service, due to just opening. After some time passed, there was a definite decline in the quality of the meals. We gave up and stopped...going. Then a Groupon popped up, so I said, "let's give them another try". We went on a weeknight, and it wasn't too busy, but the time to receive our food was very slow. Especially the one meal that was that night's "special", which took the longest, and arrived much later than everyone else's meal and was cold, and my son said wasn't tasty at all (he called it "nasty" and didn't even eat it). My pasta dish came with barely enough mediocre vodka sauce. My husband knows I like a lot of sauce so he asked the waiter if i could have an additional side of sauce for my pasta. He said, "it will be $2 extra, is that ok?" I said, "No, no thanks... I don't really want it." I then told my husband, after the waiter left, "I'm already paying $12 for a mediocre plate of spaghetti, I'm not paying $14 for it!" (no meat, literally just pasta and sauce... and they are going to fuss over some extra sauce?) The bread is very yummy. Our first batch was burned, the second batch barely cooked. (I had to ask for more bread, it wasn't offered. In fact, when I said no thanks to the sauce, i said "i'll pay for more bread, though, if i can, please?", and he said "there's no charge for more bread" and brought the undercooked batch out.) The kicker was when someone complained about something or was arguing over their bill, a man, who I assume was the owner, made a big scene out of it, raising his voice and yelling at the other man (customer) so the whole restaurant heard him. It was very unprofessional and nasty. A woman, who we guessed was the owner's mom, maybe? She apologized to everyone for the scene and told a waiter to give out mini cannolis as an apology to everyone. (we didn't want them, im not a fan of cannoli). The place has nice decor, but is small, and when the weather is cold, every time the front door opens, you get blasted with the cold air. And yes, they charge you an extra fee for paying by credit card. It is not well advertised, so easy to be surprised by it. (take cash with you, if you want to risk trying this place) Seems like the owner was maybe set up by his dad and was started out right, but he is not running it to the same standard, and is not professional. We will never return again. I suggest you don't waste your time and $ for questionable quality (hit or miss) and poor service (more often than not).More

My wife and I went here for the 1st time, we both order different past dishes with white sauce, the pasta was cooked al dente the way I like it but way to much oil, I filled a bowl with the oil so we could...eat. The staff was friendly but inexperience about the food, the tables for 2 are small and the room was way to cold had to leave my coat on, on a positive side the red sauce had a nice flavor and the espresso was a good size. Overall not a bad experience, I will probably give it another tryMore

Submitting another review because at last nights return visit, wife Sue thought the Calamari Fritti was the best calamari she ever tasted! "Light and heavenly" comes to my mind. Our guest also remarked about the quality and taste of the food preparation. Of note is...that I recommended Casale Di Maggio to a friend who was interested in the best tasting food in the area of any type restaurant. We are having take-outs tonight. My thoughts related to some other reviews is that an owner/chef who has the heart to risk helping to bring a young inexperienced waiter or waitress along is putting that same heart into his love for his food; and that is why it tastes so good. Maybe the family restaurant name too.More

My daughter and I had a delicious dinner at Casale DiMaggio in Perkasie. It was my daughter’s first time at the restaurant and she said she will definitely be back w friends. We shared a Margherita pizza followed by two different salads (one w grilled...chicken and one w steak) and both were tasty. Our waitess, Rose, recommended a dessert which was a fried dough w powdered sugar filled w canolli cream - it was awesome. The restaurant was inviting, cozy & warm as they had the fireplace going. We arrived near 5:00 pm and not too crowded, but when we left the tables were getting pretty full! Thanks so much... we will be back!!!More
