Food portions were good. Quality of the food was average. Prices were a little to high for most of the items.

Thank you for your feedback.
We come to the area every year and wanted to try somewhere new. Upon arrival we were told service was slower than normal bc of staffing. This was no issue our server amber was amazing. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Our food was...also amazing. We had prime rib, salmon and scallops which were perfect. We will definitely be back on our next visit!More
Thank you for your kind review. We will pass along your compliments to Amber.
We took our son and daugther-in-law to dinner to celebrate their anniversary. The menu had a variety of options and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server was extremely attentive and personable. I would suggest making reservations.
Thank you for your kind review. We look forward to your next visit.
Some of the things were very good. Our appitizer was great, stuffed mushroom. The rolls were fantastic. My husband's seafood broil was wonderful. My chicken was so tough I could hardly cut through it. The baked potatoes were baked so long, the skins were burned....Dessert was wonderful, peanut butter pie. Our wait staff was very pleasant and chatty which was nice. Overall it was fine, but also a bit pricey.More
Thank you for your review. I do wish you had brought your chicken to the attention of our wait staff. We would have done everything possible to make your visit a memorable one.
Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Bonnie our server was a delight and is a wonderful addition to our experience. Will definitely return!

We enjoy the Revere. Always a wonderful meal. Delicious cocktails Sherry our waitress was superb. And they even presented us with an anniversary dessert and candle!!
Thank you for your review and for spending your special day with us!
My wife and I had dinner at the Revere Tavern and it was a wonderful experience. The server was wonderful and the food was excellent. The ambiance of the historic inn is certainly a big addition to our experience.
Thank you for your 5-star review!
Celebrated my wife's birthday. The staff and waitress treated us like royalty. They made sure we had an excellent table. My special request of a dessert treat made my wife very happy. That was special too. The food was excellent as expected. We try to...celebrate special occasions at the Revere when we can be in town. It has become a tradition for us. We always loved the ambience of the place and history that surrounds it.More

We visited for the first time last week, and we had an excellent meal. Our waitress was wonderful, very attentive, and in fact, the entire staff was super friendly. (It was my birthday, and everyone we met wished me a happy one). We had glasses...of wine, my husband had french onion soup and scallops, while I had butternut squash soup and the beef burgundy. Along with rolls and salads, we were completely stuffed! There was no room for dessert, although we had tea and coffee. The ambiance is wonderful and I don't think anything would make it more lovely. Unfortunately, we do not live in the area, but we will visit the next time we are in town.More

What a wonderful treat this place is to eat. Make sure you sit in the historic side if you can. Service was outstanding, food was presented very well. Cooked just like we like it. Not rushed during dinner. If this was in my local area...we would be there several times each month.More

Thank goodness I thought to make a reservation for Saturday night on Thursday. We got a 5:30 seat in the bar and otherwise would have had to wait until 7:30. There is a fancy dining room and the bar area was packed...we sat at a...high top for two and were quite comfortable. I had a Peach Melba which I enjoyed with my salad which was lovely...crisp garden greens and even radishes in addition to the norm,al tomato, cucumber and croutons...I ordered the apricot glazed salmon which was served hot and cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the shepherd's pie which was made with beef tips. They offered a half portion which was very generous. Our waiter was quite attentive. Fresh baked rolls. We were too full for dessert but there was a nice selection. I was very happy and can't wait to go back.More
Good morning Angie. I think you may have had the wrong restaurant?
Wasn’t a spot worth stopping at for our weekend. Food wasn’t the best, the staff was friendly though. If you want to see more historic stops it’s not something worth seeing.
We are sorry you did not enjoy your meal. Our restaurant has quite the history with over 250 years of it. We are sorry you did no enjoy your visit.
This place is not only beautiful, it is warm and inviting. The service was fantastic and the food was the best i have had in years. Crab cakes with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. I would definitely recommend this meal. Our waitress, Bonnie was...a sweetheart who was not only friendly, but, was very good at her job. The Revere Tavern has a treasure in her. the bartender did a great job too. The peppermint martini I had was delicious too. something festive for the season.More
We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your next visit.
We dined at the Revere Tavern on a Sunday evening in October and were really impressed with everything -- the decor, the menu, the service, and the food. After being seated in the King George room, we began our meal with our server Janelle and...ordered an apple sangria and a glass of moscato which were quite good. Then onto spinach and artichoke dip with pita chips, quite tasty. After house salads, I had the pork roast with mashed potatoes and squash; husband had the beef burgundy tips with a baked potato. Big portions but well-presented and cooked. For dessert, we chose the pumpkin pie and the creme brulee, both delicious. All in all, a great way to finish a long day of traveling!More
