If you live in Palmyra or the surrounding communities, you probably know you won't run into a shortage of pizza places. Some will be hit or miss, and people will always have their favorites. A number of years ago, Soprano's was my favorite local pizza...place until we got an awesome one down the street from where I live. I probably haven't been to Soprano's in 7 or 8 years but, since it's on the way home from work, I decided to order a pizza one day. My all-time favorite pizza at Soprano's was "the Tony" - a meat lovers' dream with bacon, pepperoni, ham, sausage, and more. For nostalgia's sake, I had to get one and it was every bit as awesome as I remember it. That thing was nearly fully covered in meat. This may be a bit much for some, but I'm a fan. The only disadvantage I could see for some is that Soprano's doesn't deliver. You either have to eat in the restaurant or opt for take-out, but the food is worth the drive. In addition to pizza, Soprano's has a lot of pasta dishes and, while I can't comment on what they are like today, I remember enjoying them when I ate at the restaurant long ago. I would rank it in the top 5 pizza places in the Palmyra-Campbelltown area. It's that good.More
Went here on recommendation of a friend. BYOB. Service was pretty good. Noise level high due to large number of customers on a Sunday night, which I thought was unusual, until the food arrived. Homemade pasta. Excellent sauces. Adequate to large portions. Food quality rivals...much more expensive restaurants. All pizzas made in wood oven. I will be back.More
Not fancy but good food and our server, Kim, was very nice. We took home leftovers to eat the next day.
While eating slightly burnt pizz i was watching the young lady making pizza while eating over top of the pizza she was making. She was putting food in her mouth with the rubber gloves she was wearing and then touching the pizza she was making...with the same gloves she wore when putting food in her mouth. Totally disgusting. Will never eat at this dump again!More
Excellent Italian food! Only issue is the parking - a couple of on-street spaces and a small area in back
My spaghetti and sauce was very good. My wife who had angel hair pasta with the same sauce, was served a bowl of soup??? There was so much liquid in her bowl, she had to ask for a separate plate, to lift her noodles out...and not have them floating in the "liquid" whatever it was, certainly not the sauce I had. A third party at our table also had the sauce with no issue, so we don't know what happened. It was disappointing that the waitress, even after asking for another dish, didn't pick up on the fact of the "soup" issue, and offer to replace the dish. She should have never served it in the first place, as our friends stated she has been there as a server for a long time. Additionally, this plate should have never left the kitchen. Based on my wife's experience, we will not go back to this establishment anytime soon. Also the garlic toast, was very heavily flavored with garlic, and that's OK if you like it strong flavored, but I think they should lighten up a little on the garlic. It was very busy for a Saturday night with people waiting, so they may have overlooked some quality, trying to serve everyone who was seated and waiting for seats. We were out of water, and the server did not stay on top of this fact to provide ample refills. Portions were satisfactory, but the prices which weren't exactly inexpensive, were not conducive for a good visit. It also was ice cold in the restaurant with a very low temperature outside. The restrooms, were literally like standing inside a refrigerator! Was the heat working???More
This is one of the best kept secrets for the Campbelltown and local residents. In a small strip building along Route #322 you might easily drive by and not see the sign. If you like large portions of fresh made Italian food -- this place...is for you.More
great dishes and portions, good service, byob.....portions are decent and reasonably priced. we will go again
pizza and subs are great . they make their own pizza dough , not pre made shell that some pizza places use. some times they get very busy and it takes longer to get service but its worth the wait. I have also eaten in...the dining room and enjoyed the many Italian dishesMore
