Stopped in for a zep. We ordered a tray of them for a Holiday party. They are a Norristown thing and Lou's does it right. Everyone there is every friendly.

I live in Maryland now but any chance I get to obtain some of those dee-licious Zeps I get 'em. What's a Zep? Get on over to Norristown PA and find out. I don't think they make them anywhere else. When we were kids, we used to run down to Lou's and get a whole bag of Zeps and take... More

We loved this place! The interior has the vintage charm of a well loved diner. The zeps are fabulous (OMG, the bread!), and the staff was really great. Many of the patrons on the day we visited appeared to know each other and the staff well, but outsiders are made to feel just as welcome. I hope to be back!

Not much changes in Lou's from decade to decade. They make a great milkshake in those old steel containers. The cheesesteaks are terrific and they are famous for a local sandwich called a 'zep'. Sit at the counter. Last time I was there every person in the place was reading an actual printed newspaper and there wasn't a cell phone... More

I have been going to this sandwich shop for 40 years. They have the best coffee in town and all you have to ask for is 'regular.' When people come from out of town who have never had a 'zep' I send them here. No ambiance but take it home and enjoy!!

Did a Yelp search for local sandwiches while in King of Prussia, few weeks ago. Authentic people and location. Wish I had one right now...

No time for travel? Here's a trip! In a good way, I mean. Time-machine yourself to Lou's. Blink and you'll miss it - that would be a shame! Family-owned. A Norristown historical gem still alive and kicking. Their food is fresh and prepared with care - watch! Delicious breakfast & lunch menu. 1940s architecture and decor to delight. Chrome 'n'...
