This place is very small, but cozy. It's tucked into the main drag among some shops. It's really just what I want in a neighborhood restaurant. It reminds me of a European eatery. Good pasta, salads and desserts. The service was fantastic and the server was very pleasant. I would go back again.

I was looking forward to going to this BYOB since I had eaten at the other restaurant on the river and enjoyed it. While I can't say everything was perfect, I can say the food was really good. Very tasty mushroom soup and scallop appetizer. My capellini and crab and the lasagna were delicious. The coconut cake was ridiculous! I... More

My wife and I stopped in this little store front type restaurant on the main street in Newtown. What a great choice. Everything was good. The appetizer, the salad, the entree, as well as the bread and olive oil. We would definately recommend it highly.

Was really looking forward to revisiting from a year ago, when I had a memorable meal with my team. Given my previous visit I brought my wife for a quiet intimate celebration. Brought drinks as it is a BYOB, which I like, having an extensive cellar at home. Ordered some of my favorites of the menu from last time, calamari... More

We enjoy a few of the lunch offerings at this good State Street gem! Amazing to find a delicious and well priced lunch. Small in size but the menu big in flavor. Great place to meet for business.

Florentino's is, without a doubt, our favorite spot in a town full of choices!!! Small, quaint, great service and top flight Italian food!!! My only problem is that I have trouble making a menu decision once we get there!!!! I've had no less than 10 different entrees, each one as wonderful as the others!!!!! If you like or never have... Everyone at our table enjoyed a variety of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. We shared among our dishes and everything was very good. The staff was friendly and didn't rush us, the pacing was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

I am certain that the only reason this BYOB establishment isn't rated any higher on TA is because it is a little challenge to find the right door into the place...... However...... Once you do your patience and perseverance is rewarded. We had a Top-Shelf dining experience here in this intimate but not overly crowded space. There is some seriously... More
