Saturday night in New Hope - try finding a parking spot! On our way to the Playhouse the Villa Vito was close to our parking lot so we stopped in for dinner. The lady who (we think) is one of the owners was like an...old Italian Mother, very friendly & helpful. Ordered that Antipasto for two, it was one of the best we have had in years with a nice mixture of veggies & meat & cheeses but no lettuce. We paired it with a small pizza and the result was plenty for the two of us. If you like a thin, crusty pizza you would love this place. We enjoyed it but prefer the more traditional Trenton Style pizza. They seem to be affiliated with the Irish pub below them so you can get some draft beers, wine or mixed drinks if you wish. The restaurant is very small so getting tables in the winter could be a challenge at times. If you go check you bill when (if) you get one. I feel we were overcharged for one or two items. (Like the antipasto, small pizza & 2 beers should cost nearly $45?) Don't pay any attention to the menu posted on Trip Advisor, it looks nothing like the menu at the restaurant.More

Personal pizza (fresh crust, fresh mushrooms), and chicken wings in garlic & olive oil...YUM. Felt like I was sitting in my grandmother's kitchen. Nothing fancy, but food was very good. Service is slightly slow because each dish is made individually - rather have it that...way than mass-produced. If in the area again, will definitely be back.More

When i walked in and saw that this fine establishment had lambrusco listed on their wine list I knew i had to order it. But, alas, they had no lambrusco, so i had to settle for a sweet CChianti ( spoken like hannibal lecter ).... though hannibal enjoyed his chianti with a much more palatable meal. The gnocchi came mixed with bits and pieces of spaghetti and penne, soaked in a much too watery red sauce. hey but authentic italian-american at least ;)More

Home cooked Italian meals in a homelike setting. They've come a long way and the place has a long history bin New Hope PA. The owners are the servers and the ambrosia is the best. Bruschetta made from tomatoes grown right out back!

We enjoyed a good lunch meal during our stay in New Hope. Close to shopping. I would go there again-they have a nice outside area for dining.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Ordered two waters and an ice tea water tasted as if it came out of the toilet bowl and The ice tea I can’t even begin to explain how gross it was. Me and my sister ordered chicken Parm sandwich....Didn’t know chicken was supposed to be gray. Took one bite and spit it out. Not only that but it was so soggy. My son got a piece of pizza and said it was edible. I made them take it off the check and somehow it was still 16.00 for two pieces of pizza and 4.00 mozzarella sticks. stay away don’t waste your moneyMore

This place is a disgusting, dirty dump. Owners are rude and honestly looked like they were strung out on drugs.

A complete stranger on the street suggested we check out Villa Vito because we were up for good Italian food and the first plookace we went to was overbooked. We were the only couple on the patio (with our dog). Upon entering indoors to ask...if dogs were allowed, we were instructed to go out around the side to the patio, which we did. Two gentlemen working off in a corner cursing and using foul language told us to sit anywhere. The salads presented to us on tiny dishes did not look appetizing but I ventured in and ate a little of mine. My husband did not touch his. An older, amiable gentleman brought us our entrees. The chicken marsala over linguini and chicken parmigiana were good. The atmosphere was eerily quiet until eventually someone put some Italian music on. Eventually we had some conversation with the older woman who waited on us and we left with some fresh mint she offered us from her garden as a result of our discussion. The food was reasonably priced. It was just an odd experience.More
