Ordered food to go and was soo disappointed! Pork sub was soo drenched in gravy the bread was totally soggy - you couldn’t hardly pick it up! The pork was tender but seemed old. The meatballs were really just ok! Wouldn’t bother here.
It is understood that in this COVID world there are fewer dining options. However, on this rainy Sunday afternoon my husband and I stopped into DiNapoli’s Italian Market Restaurant & Catering in New Hope PA. After a 2 hour drive we were particularly looking forward...to lunch. We ordered one soup, one broccoli rabe, and eggplant parmigiana with penne marinara and a penne marinara entra. Lunch was served almost immediately. To my shock, the food was of uneven temperature, mostly cold, and I realized it was not freshly cooked but rather nuked in the microwave. Lunch tasted like leftovers. I rarely write negative reviews but this was an atrocious experience. Next time in New Hope, we will look for a better alternative. in addition, the bathrooms were not cleaned properlyMore
we were really looking forward to our first order as we had heard so many good things about this restaurant. On a busy Saturday night we ordered a "to go" order for our family. Upon entry to pick it up, there were both guests and...staff without masks in a very small, compact space with no social distancing. There was n enforcement of public health standards. Staff members explained they were maskless because they had asthma...so, Mr. Customer, please deal with it. Enough said, we declined our order and will never be visiting this restaurant again. Where were the owners as the managers are irresponsible?More
If you are going to be in the New Hope, PA or across the bridge in Lambertville, NJ for the day, I would recommend a meal at DiNapoli's. They have wonderful sandwiches including their meatball offerings which they are known for. Everything we have ordered...during a various visits has been terrific. The owner and staff are very friendly and it's always a part of our visit to the area we look forwad to.More
Very good Italian food, there meatballs n sauce are delicious! They are authentic recipes from there family in Naples! Excellent service and atmosphere and very reasonable!I highly recommend DiNapolis! You will not be sorry!
From the great Italian food to the decor, you couldn't ask for anything more! The staff and owner was great, very friendly and willing to talk about his array of photo's. From 'The Rat Pack" to Sinatra, and of course "The God Father". Something for everyone, including..."The Sopano's Pinball machine. Check them out. You won't be disapointed!More
I love their food, so I don’t like writing about my disappointment. We ordered three sandwiches and an order of delicious meatballs. The 2 small meatballs were $6. The Durante was nearly $12 and it had a minuscule amount of meat/cheese. I really like lightly...filled subs, but the Durante was mostly all bread. I’ve had these before and I feel that, over time the meat/cheese has really become meager. Disappointing!More
Very cramped area to order, as well as the sitting area. It smells wonderful and the menu is typical Italian deli with good prices for many items. The Italian hoagie was good but the choice of a French roll was not ideal because it’s too...hard and difficult to eat. The penne pasta with marinara was forgettable and the sauce was watery, bland, and nothing to write home about. Disappointing for an Italian deli and market to serve such bland sauce. The bathrooms are tiny water closets and they were rather sloppy, service was a bit slow, and the music was too loud. I like Old Blue Eyes, but it gets to be too much sometimes.More
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They wanted to please. We were there for lunch yesterday and were happy to find this place with an outside patio where we could sit with our small dog. We ordered a Proscuitto panini to share and were...very disappointed. There was one thin slice of Proscuitto on it but my main gripe was the slice of tomato. This is prime tomato season with beautiful ripe juicy tomatoes readily available everywhere. The tomato on our sandwich was like one you would find in the grocery store in January. It was hard and a toss between orange and yellow. It was barely ripe. To me, there is no excuse for serving this type of tomato when this is the season for them. We were extremely disappointed.More
