Great location along Hwy 83 between northern Baltimore Co, Maryland and York Pa. Perfect for folks who want a sit down, country style family restaurant instead of fast food. On the outskirts of historic Shrewsbury, Pa.

A breakfast visit to the Cracker Barrel in Shrewsbury (listed as "New Freedom" but we all know better) was routinely pleasant. Not at all crowded at 8am on a Friday morning, we were seated immediately and our server approached just as we had made our decisions. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and my companion ordered a new "skillet" offering. The... More

Stopped here for an early breakfast. We stood waiting 10 minutes for a hostess to show up at her station. She actually came in the restaurant while we were waiting. Other patrons were seated eating and some had finished breakfast. Our waitress was prompt and took our order. The food was excellent as usual. I'm not sure what is happening... More

Not sure what the hype is about this place. The food is mediocre the service is slower than molasses. The only positive is it has an adorable gift shop.

When you question where to go for the home cooked meal here is where we come. Always clean, plenty of parking, easy for us to get to, wheelchair accessible, reasonable prices, friendly staff and always someone you know is there. Lots of travlers but lots of us locals.

I have been here countless times with my daughter. We love it here. My favorite is the blueberry pancakes as well as the open face roast beef. Service is always polite.

They have always been very clean, and good food. Predictable food for a chain but really nice setting. Definitely pricey for what you get and the service is often slow or overworked. Very friendly though.

First, we were seated at 7 pm and ordered 2 breakfast meals. Mine was basic sampler (eggs, biscuits, gravy, bacon, hash brown casserole, grits). My fiancé had pancakes and eggs. At 7:30 we asked the waitress if she thought it would be much longer as 30 minutes seemed a long time for what we ordered and how many people were... More

We Love the Cracker Barrel especially their breakfasts, love the French toast, grits and gravy and all of their soups. This location is very clean, friendly folks working in the store always say Hi and By. Love all the different Holiday merchandise and foods. Just love the whole concept!

This is an average Cracker Barrel . I was eating here weekly for over a year and was happy. The service and food was Ok to good. The last time I ate here I got food poison from the meatloaf meal and spent a day and Half sick. Will not go back
