Amazing is an understatement!

We had a fantastic experience at Buon Cibo Grill. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service was spot on. The owners personally greeted us and chatted throughout our dinner. We enjoyed the meatballs, wedding soup, house salads, mussels, greens and beans, mahi mahi, crab cakes and lobster tails. The bread and of course, the pasta were stellar! Espresso after dinner was perfect as well! I just can’t explain how amazing our experience was. Go ahead and enjoy dinner here, you won’t be disappointed!

Very rarely is pasta so perfectly cooked al dente everytime I eat somewhere, but they manage it. Excellent Italian food and family run. I have NEVER had a bad meal from this restaurant, neither has any family or friends for years.

FANTASTIC FOOD AND AMAZING PEOPLE!

This is THE BEST Italian restaurant in the area! I have tried just about everyone and I am often disappointed coming from an italian family that makes everything from scratch. That is NOT the case here! Everything on the menu is excellent, and I have had just about everything. On top of that the owners and staff are wonderful people. The owners greet us so kindly and stop to talk with us everytime we go. I feel like I am visiting my family they are so kind and caring. Cavatelli, filete mignon, and crab cakes are a few of my favorites. A must go in Murrysville, you won't be dissapointed.

Will never go back. The veal parm was grossly over cooked, hard and difficult to chew. Although we had reservations and were seated immediately, it took a half hour to get a menu and another half hour to get our appetizers which were average at best. The take out orders seemed to be pumped out while dine in patrons waited and waited. If you can’t take care of those seated in your brick and mortar first you should not be offering take-out. Period. Both veal meals were not good, the chicken was bland as well. The shrimp dinner was good but not anything you can’t get elsewhere. Service was slow because they were trying to do too much (take orders). The space is small and really should not have a bar as that space would be better served for seating. It’s awkward having it a stones throw from your chair while people are getting up and down, drinking and being loud. The entire ordeal took forever. We felt like we were being held hostage. It shouldn’t take over two hours in a restaurant. We shouldn’t have to ask 1.5 hours in where our meals were. Our party was ready to pay for the apps and just leave…then one meal surfaced…a few minutes later…another and so on. Not served at the same time. Ridiculous. We also felt for the amount and quality of what was received, it was expensive and a total waste of time and money.

I would put the food at Buon Cibo up against ANY Italian cuisine anywhere in the area. Bar none. Fettuccine, Gnocchi, stuffed peppers,meatballs, salads, everything. And it’s not even close. Come here and arrive hungry. You won’t be disappointed!

A Hidden Gem

This Restaurant is a hidden Gem in a strip shopping center in Murrysville. We were in town to visit our friends who are local and suggested this location for dinner. This is a family run restaurant where everything is homemade and delicious. Being from NJ we can be a little snobbish when it comes to good Italian food but Buon Cibo Grill exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is not a large one so make a reservation so you can get in and enjoy the fantastic selection of Pasta and Seafood dishes that they create!

Sfogliatella overpriced

Love this restaurant, their food and the owners. My last visit I ordered 3 sfogliatella to take home. To my shock, I was charged $18 for them! I will not order them again.

Atmosphere + cuisine = dining experience

Finding our plans for the evening cancelled suddenly, we called the restaurant at 5:15 PM to check if they possibly had room for us, we could be there in 15 minutes. Angela, one of the owners, accepted our reservation and off we went. Once inside, Angela led us to the back of the restaurant and placed two menus at the last two seats of an eight seat corner bar and kept on walking. The restaurant had four tables occupied at the time and there was a sea of white table cloths waiting for diners. We were never asked if the seating was acceptable, nor were we advised when we called that we would be seated there. While we waited for service, we had diners talking across us and people coming up to the bar, next to my husband, to pick up take out orders Forget the handshake, or cheek kiss, or so happy to see you. That never happened to us last night. Dining is not just about good food. It is the ambience plus good food that creates the experience. Last night, Buon Cibo failed this simple equation. When we left, only one other “reserved” table had been seated.

Delicious Italian food

The food is delicious, the owners are warm and welcoming, the service is good. BYOB. Small restaurant so reservations are a good idea. I have had their grilled chicken parmesan several times and it is amazing. Save room for the tiramisu. I have never had anything less than excellent food and service at Buon Cibo.

Best Veal Chop Ever

I went to Bon Cabo last night and was greeted by the owner and spouse. Both stopped by several times to assure our party of 6 was well served and we were. I ordered the veal chop that was prepared to perfection and it was delicious and tender. The best I’ve ever experienced.

Very good food

Came here with 3 friends last week. My friend had the salmon and raved about it. I had the large house salad [their housemade dressing is wonderful], mussel [big and tasty] appetizer, and the spumoni for dessert. Another friend had the shrimp over pasta and salad and really liked it. The corkage fee was $8 per bottle, which is pretty standard in this area, so the people who complained in another review should get a life or go to other locations in Murrysville where they can get a small glass of house wine for $11-$13.

Great Service, Great Food

It was ok, and over priced for ok food.

Our 1st & probably our last time there. The food was pretty basic, 4 people ordered, 1 hoagie type sandwich, 3 chicken parms, 2 appetizers, byob on the wine....Over $120. bill.Then, come to find out when the bill came, they tack on a $8.00 corkage fee.... Really?? We brought our own cork screw which when I told the waitress I had mine own; she looked at me like I had a third eye, picked up my bottle of wine, opened it sideways & splashed it over the front of my husbands shirt. And for that, we were charged an $8.00 fee. (He got a free coke for his trouble) I had to re-cork my own bottle before we left. All things being equal, I don't think we'll be back. After 6 years in business, get a liquor license & stop the corkage fees!

Best Salmon in the City

What a fantastic place for a great meal. From the salmon to the Filet Migon to the pizza you can’t go wrong. Love the service and the owners. Very family oriented makes you feel like you are in their home. GO you will not be disappointed!!!!
