Recommend for breakfast. Lots of locals there. Waitress a bit odd, maybe just an off morning. Otherwise omelets were awesome!

This is an old timey (not fancy) Greek diner but its old character is made up in spades with the nice staff and owner. They have wonderful spanakopita and blueberry pancakes. We fled our overpriced and breakfast and dinner at the Inn at Pocono Manor and instead ate here. Best decision we made on that trip.

Fast service and great food! Owner Costa a Korean Vet does a very good job keeping everything running smooth. Greek owner knows how to do it right.

A family gathering of eight had breakfast at the Pioneer Diner. The staff quickly cobbled together a few tables and chairs to accommodate our gathering. The service was efficient and the food was served quickly. Everyone liked their dish and the price was right. Nice job Pioneer Diner.

The owner Gus was the sweetest man ever! The staff was hard working and very kind. The food was AMAZING! And I'm a tough critic when it comes to food. We had a horrible at Mt. Pocono Campground down the road the night before, then came here for breakfast and it totally turned our trip around. I HIGHLY recommend coming... More

Nice little diner located on the intersection of routes 611 & 940, good prices, food is good, service is attentive, they seem to close by 10:00pm. Great pancakes!

This is in an older building but is clean with great food and a very friendly owner. The orders are large and price is very reasonable.

Staff was friendly, helpful and fast. Ordered BLT and OJ BLT was nicely toasted a light brown, if you like it darker you may want to tell them. The Bacon was nice and crispy without being burnt, just the way I like it. Nice amounts of Lettuce and Tomato with enough mayo to have full flavor without being too much... More

Very nicely done in this remodeled stalwart of mt. Pocono. They do excellent home fries and crisp corned beef hash but need to be reminded specifically of how to do the dishes that you want. Gracious but country speed service reminds us that we are not in a big city. They have great pancakes here and French toast as well.... More
