We ate our 38th wedding anniversary breakfast here and was very satisfied. The service was good. My Pioneer Omelette was very good and hot to the table. My wife's pancakes were very flavorable but a little less than hot. We couldn't eat it all.

My husband and I stop here when we travel to Pittsburgh and it never disappoints. It is not a glitzy diner. the breakfast are cooked to your request like well done home fries and soft poached eggs. Definetely will be stopping again.

The food was great but the men's bathroom smells like urine to where it is overpowering. Turns out the water to the urinal was disconnected. Made me wonder what the kitchen looked like.

The food was very good and this is the cleanest diner/restaurant I have ever been in. I am from Maryland and they had Maryland crabcakes on the menu. I ordered them against my better judgement. They were cooked a little different than I had ever seen but they were ok. I am betting that people that are not from Maryland... More

Recommend for breakfast. Lots of locals there. Waitress a bit odd, maybe just an off morning. Otherwise omelets were awesome!

This is an old timey (not fancy) Greek diner but its old character is made up in spades with the nice staff and owner. They have wonderful spanakopita and blueberry pancakes. We fled our overpriced and breakfast and dinner at the Inn at Pocono Manor and instead ate here. Best decision we made on that trip.

A family gathering of eight had breakfast at the Pioneer Diner. The staff quickly cobbled together a few tables and chairs to accommodate our gathering. The service was efficient and the food was served quickly. Everyone liked their dish and the price was right. Nice job Pioneer Diner.

The owner Gus was the sweetest man ever! The staff was hard working and very kind. The food was AMAZING! And I'm a tough critic when it comes to food. We had a horrible at Mt. Pocono Campground down the road the night before, then came here for breakfast and it totally turned our trip around. I HIGHLY recommend coming... More

Nice little diner located on the intersection of routes 611 & 940, good prices, food is good, service is attentive, they seem to close by 10:00pm. Great pancakes!
