It's out of the way - but what a find. This small bakery cafe, located in a small town draws a large crowd every time I've been there. Returned today for another maybe-the-best-ever Cranberry Turkey sandwich, and I wasn't disappointed. They start with their soft and delicious homemade bread (ciabatta I think), load it up with high quality roasted turkey,... More

We stopped here a lot when our daughter was a student at WVU as it is very close to Morgantown, WV. It is in a cute little town off the last/first exit in PA-depending on whether you are heading north or south on Interstate 79. The sandwiches and soups and and salads are delicious. The dessert case is always full... More

Our family went here for lunch. It was my first time there although other family members had been there several times. It's an attractive but small restaurant and somewhat crowded because of that. On the day we were there it was too warm to sit outside but it looked like it would be lovely to do so. I was told... More

I have visited this place many times for both breakfast and lunch. It is hours from my home, but I stop any time I am in the area. All the food is great. My personal fav are the pecan bars. They are dangerously delicious. The sandwiches are great. All portions are generous. The staff is friendly and service is quick.... More

What a unique little place! Fantastic (and quite large!) sandwiches and amazing baked goods. They also sell loaves of salt rising bread which is delicious. Definitely worth a drive through the beautiful countryside to check it out. The staff is also very friendly. Was quite busy on a Sunday at noon, but the wait still wasn't terrible and well worth... Took a break from driving and stopped here for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! Everything is homemade and the food was fabulous. It is located alongside a small river and offers outdoor seating. The service was a little slow, which was okay - we welcomed the nice break in our 12 hour drive. It's about a mile off of I-79... More

Rising Creek Bakery is an unexpected gem. Located close to I79 it's a great change from fast food if you are traveling, and a great place to stop often if you happen to live nearby. Or even not so nearby! Sandwiches, quiche, soups, all sorts of bakery items! Everything is delicious and fresh. There are places to sit inside and... More

It definitely is a good place for lunch. Service is quick despite the number of customers. Their homemade breads are well worth it. Prices are very reasonable for one huge sandwich. Even the chips and pickle is a tad different.

Rising Creek Bakery is probably my favorite place to eat!!! The sandwiches are delicious, bakery items are divine and lattes are the best (better than Starbucks! ) I love the quaint atmosphere and the fresh ingredients of the food. Oh and the salt rising bread-yum! The staff is the best! Can't say enough great things about this awesome place!

If traveling along I79, this is the best place to stop for lunch in a 50 mile radius. Really nice staff...gave us freebies when food was delayed. Favorites are fruit tart, Reuben, and pepperoni rolls. Strongly recommend.
