We used our Local Flavor coupon, (reading the fine print that states only one coupon at a table and may not be used on specials.) We have been here several times and we always enjoy the food. This time the owner served us. He was...very nice and my husband enjoyed his Jerk Chicken Sandwich and I liked the Fajita Wrap. Each time we go, I like to try something different.More

If 0 stars was available, they would have gotten it. This was our 2nd trip there as I had purchased a Local Flavor deal that consisted of 2-$20 certificates. The first trip was OK, just really slow service. We expected the slow service again, but...didn't care as we were with friends and planed on chatting. The guys got their beer fairly quickly, as did my friend with her wine. I was beginning to think I would have to go make my martini myself, BUT drinks were good. We ordered very simply, my husband the prime rib special and the other fellow a steak special. Both girls ordered burgers, medium. A plain cheeseburger and a black and blue burger. A monkey could have gotten it right. The guys were pleased with their meals, but both burgers were like hockey pucks. I kid you not, mine was crispy around the edges, the roll was dry and stale and I did not even attempt to eat it and even the blue cheese on mine was dry and browned(?). When we complained, we got "oh, I'm sorry. I'll tell the chef." ( calling him a chef was really an exaggeration ), we really should have sent the burgers back. Then to the fun part, our bills, which to begin with were outrageous ( minus the drinks, we could have had fine dining). Both couples spent over $75.00. They had a coupon for a discount, and we had our $20 Local Flavor certificate. The first time around I received a discount of about $10 off. She went back to correct, the 2nd time around, she said she could not use two coupons at one table, fine our friend had a coupon, we bought ours, so we used ours. Next I still did not see $20 off my check AND we were then told since the total for the table was over $100, even though there were only 4 people, an 18% gratuity was added to our checks. This is absolutely ridiculous, I realize the gratuity is added for large groups, but never because of the size of the checks--and that was putting two checks together. I will never, ever set foot in this place again and tell anyone who mentions it to stay far far away.More

We enjoyed the food. Very good but not great. The food is priced very reasonably but the drinks are very overpriced.

I had a bad headache and the noise in the front area was making it worse and they moved us to the back room that wasn't even open. This made more work for our server but she handled it with a huge smile and continued...to be very attentive while we were there. I really appreciated that they moved us to quiet area. I ordered a cheeseburger and my husband ordered the open face turkey sandwich. As soon as our server delivered the cheeseburger she noticed the cook had not put on the lettuce, tomato, or mustard. She immediately went and got those things for me. I gave my husband half of the cheeseburger and he gave me half of his open faced sandwich (we always share). Both were very good. I had to rate the place down 1 star because the cook didn't appear to have looked close enough at my order our server gave him/her or he/she just forgot to add what I wanted on it.More

I paid and wasn't given the food until it was really cold. Soggy fries, soggy chips in the taco salad. The family was disappointed.

The restaurant wasn't especially crowded and could pick our table. We placed our order and waited an hour before it arrived. My spouse's chicken dish (the special) was very dry and he sent it back. I was finished my dinner of ribs (another special) before...he received his dinner. It was better, but didn't really have much flavor. He had it boxed up to take home. My ribs were alright, also a bit overcooked. We have been to the WT a number of times and this was the worse experience we ever had. I have had the ribs where the meat was falling off the bone, it was so tender. The kitchen was just totally off this trip. The manager made no effort to come by and apologize, and we felt bad for the waitress, she didn't seem to know what to do. We did tip our waitress - she has no control over the kitchen.More

I have gone to this place more times than I should have with hopes it would offer an improved experience It has just not proven to be the case. While they have very good wings there are frequent glaring service and food prep errors. Most...recently I was witness to a server dropping a plate of food on a patron, my medium rare burger was well done, we were given no silverware for the whole table, the two burgers brought to our table had clearly stale buns yet the bottom was soggy from grease, and there was a looooong wait until our server stepped back into the room to address the issues. Previous visits resulted in shoe leather tough well done steak when medium rare was ordered, drinks not being refilled, and orders being just incorrect when brought to the table. With so many better choices in Mount Joy I would say go elsewhere.More

Couple dinner in Bar, Live music soft instrumental. Food good, service horrible waited to waitress to identify that more drinks were needed, she talked to another table for so long she sat down at their table. Asked the bartender of drinks she call the waitress...and said they will never learn if you don't make them do their own work. We would return just dodge that waitress.More

We've eaten here numerous times. Good wings, and a pretty standard bar food menu. The prime rib special is a good deal. Nothing fancy about the decor or menu, but it works. Usually a good spot when you just feel like getting out of the...house instead of cooking.More
