As always, the food and service was great! I had a chicken wrap, a decaf peppermint ice tea, and a chocolate chunk cookie, all of which were delicious. The sunny views of the outdoor trees and garden area were enjoyable to look at through the big glass windows. I definitely will go there again.

Had great service and food! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is clean and bright. Seating is great and nice views of outside. Also has outside seating when weather permits!

My wife says that they have the best coffee. The food menu is small but tasty. The ladies always have a smile.

The smoothies are awesome and the employees are so friendly. A very cozy place to gather with a couple of friends.

The coffee is very good, staff is super friendly, and atmosphere is warm and perfect for conversations. The food is very good too, they have a variety of breakfast items-including quiche-and breads/pastries. Be sure to bring cash...my only complaint about this adorable place!

I first went to Higher Grounds with a friend to catch up and grab a cold brew. Little did I know this would turn in to a new favorite coffee spot. The options for iced coffee are endless and the menu is small for food, but all looked delicious. The staff is so friendly and have great recommendations. The service... More

Just love this place...food and drinks are great. I would recommend the chicken corn soup and the baked oatmeal...Historical note it used to be the town library many moons ago...

Higher Grounds is my favorite coffee shop. I think their coffee drinks are by far the best I've ever had, and I've tried many places. You don't get a bitter coffee taste like some cafes. I like the fact that they have so many different flavors and you can mix and match syrups. Their Mountain Freezes are delicious! Try a... More

This little gem is tucked into an old library building in the heart of Mount Joy. It is brightly but tastefully decorated, eclectic but not obnoxious. The food is very good, basic sandwiches, soups, quiche, etc and they have an excellent dessert case. Their star offering is by far their coffee (hence the reference to grounds in their name!)
