Went there for ravioli pasta dinners and both dinners were horrible. Overpriced food that tasted like they got it at the frozen section of the grocery store. Never again! Don't waste your money.

Mendocino's has been a favorite of our family. Whether its pizza, stromboli, lasagna or potato pancakes its always delicious. And the tortellini soup is my personal must have. Fried vegetable medley for the hubby and my daughter loves the appletini
We order from here all of the time and have dined in on occasion. We called to ask if they could make garlic bread and then make the hot hoagie on that bread and were told that it was not possible. We called back to...ask if they at least toasted the bread and was told that they do. Then asked if we could just pay for both the garlic bread and the sandwich, but just make the sandwich on the garlic bread. The woman said it was irritating that we wanted to order something not on the menu.... Isn't garlic bread on the menu? Isn't the hoagie on the menu? It is a simple combination of two things that you already make. We declined to make an order and ordered somewhere else. That place agreed to make the hoagies that way without hesitation. Even if they didn't want to or "couldn't" do it, there was no reason to be rude about it. Customer service could be better. Mendicino's has lost our business.More
Mendicino's is quite a drive from our house, but we always enjoy going there. It has been about a year since our last visit. We took the long way home after a day of shopping at The Crossings to eat here. We always prefer sitting...in the lounge area bc of the ambiance and in the fall/ winter the coziness of the fireplace. We arrived around 9pm on a Thursday and were seated in the lounge immediately. There were no patrons in the restaurant part, but the lounge was almost full. They have a nice wine list and all bottles are between $19 and $22. We ordered a bottle of wine and for dinner had the eggplant parm and the chicken parm. They both came with soup or salad and a side of pasta. Their eggplant is seriously the best and is always consistent. It's super thin and melts in your mouth. Some places have chewy or spongy eggplant, which is absolutely gross, but not here. The service is always good as well. I had leftovers to take home and we were too full for dessert, but I do remember their desserts being very good. Definitely a place to check out for good Italian meals.More
We went here with a large group and 2 kids. Everyone was OK with their dinners...Stromboli, Calzone, a few pasta dishes, Chicken Parmesan. It seems the pizza type dinners were enjoyed more than the entree's. The Chicken Parm was just OK, the Alfredo was very..."american" cheese flavored to the folks eating it. The hot sauce "stromboli" was a bit greasy. Anyway...we all left happy but not necessarily excited to come back and try other foods. Perhaps we will just get Pizza next time?More
We have been a fan of Mendicino's for at least 8 years now. We are picky with Italian food- so I would say It's not authentic - but its still very good. Its better than anything else in the area. Pizza is actually very good!...The pasta dishes are large and good. The bread good- and salad very yummy. I enjoy coming here for the good service and good family atmosphere. I recommend itMore
Three of my friends and I had pizza here one Sunday night after church, and had a great time. The pizza was very good. I recommend the place to everyone.
Mendocino's is a local gem where you'll find a great selection of American and Italian foods along with wonderful pizza variety. Love the super strombolli and the cavatelli & broccoli .. yum!
Typical for the counterfeit Italian food in the Poconos! Service, Food, Decor is up to OR should I say “down” to the mediocre standards we’ve become accustomed to here in the pocs. I don’t eat tripe but people I’ve gone there with seem to like...it very much.More
The bar side of Mendocino's is amazing. The fireplace, the audience, the servers were amazing and the food was so good. I would definitely recommend visiting the bar side and not the actual restaurant side. Quaint and quiet.
Whenever my family and I are in the area we always make sure we go here for dinner. The wings here are the best in the area. The staff are very friendly as well.
Eat here often, greeat food and great service. Definitely highly reccomened. Try to avoid Friday nights in the summer, unless your getting take out.
We always enjoy spending time here. The granite bar is roomy and just beautiful. They have many options libations. The owners are kind
We love sitting in the bar area to eat and drink. Everything from theirs salads, dinners and pizza is always very good. We especially love it in the winter because the bar has nice, big fireplace that keeps you cozy. I think there is live...entertainment on the weekends!More
We've lived in the area for almost 20 years and the pizza and cleanliness of Mendicinos is always consistent! Great place to celebrate a special event or to just get out of the house if you do t feel like cooking!
