Please come partake of the delicious meals prepared by Earlene Bush even if you cannot stay for the night in the Inn. Choice of 3 entrees each night (vegetarian, meat/fowl, & seafood) all locally sourced. Also a fully licensed bar including wine and beer from Nova Scotia and great selection of single malt Scotch!

Call ahead for reservations at this small, tasteful, excellent restaurant which is part of the Chanterelle Inn. They'll tell you over the phone what's on the brief menu, as it changes nightly. All the locally sourced components are listed on the menu, and some are grown right on the property. It's a beautiful 30 minute drive from Baddeck. The staff... More

It was a cold, wet weekend early evening. Close to closing time but we were fed a great home style meal by friendly staff in a busy little spot. Do Drop in

My husband and I stayed at the Chanterelle Inn and made reservations for dinner. All the food is locally sourced so you know its fresh. We enjoyed a blueberry and beet salad along with the crab bisque to start. We both opted for a sizeable lobster accompanied by cooked veggies and corn on the cob. We finished dessert with a... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner in early June. It was highly recommended by our B&B hosts in Baddeck. It is a few miles outside of Baddeck but well worth the 30 minute drive. I called ahead that morning for dinner reservations and as it was early in the season, we were surprised and delighted that we... More

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at this inn. The room was adequate and very clean and quiet. The food both at breakfast and dinner was very tasty. The home was built as a B and B and was very homey and comfortable with a beautiful screened porch for wasy relaxing after touring the scenic areas near the inn.... More

My husband, son and I had the pleasure of a most delightful dinner overlooking the stunning highlands. The wonderful service, the fabulous food and the feeling of truly being welcomed made for a terrific first night of many to follow on this visit to the Cape.

The food was excellent, a the setting was beautiful, high on a hill overlooking the Cape abreton Highlands. We watched hummingbirds feeding as we ate. I had a beet and blueberry salad to start; it was delicious. My husband tried the wild mushroom soup, with wild mushrooms gathered on the property. It was a littl bland. My entree was seared...
