We stayed two nights at this beautiful remote setting. We booked the culinary experience with Earling and her assistant Andy. They really are a two terrific individuals, and our experience was quite an adventure. we were making bread in the morning when an unexpected power outage cut out power to the entire area. So we went to market in town,... More

Dine with caution if require gluten-free menu. Otherwise, food was average. Not many diners were in restaurant for dinner which makes its own statement. Unsure if chef truly understood gluten-free menu requirements. Not a good outcome. Blueberry beet salad not my favorite, but reviews from other diners indicate a popular item. Reasonable beer/wine prices. Good parking. Clean establishment. Lovely location.

Thank you for taking time to write a review of the restaurant. I was concerned about the "attack" you mentioned and was hoping to get more information about what you ordered and about the symptoms. Yes indeed I know about what "gluten-free" means: my stepfather was an MD and a founding member of the American Academy of Clinical Ecologists, a... More

Please come partake of the delicious meals prepared by Earlene Bush even if you cannot stay for the night in the Inn. Choice of 3 entrees each night (vegetarian, meat/fowl, & seafood) all locally sourced. Also a fully licensed bar including wine and beer from Nova Scotia and great selection of single malt Scotch!

Call ahead for reservations at this small, tasteful, excellent restaurant which is part of the Chanterelle Inn. They'll tell you over the phone what's on the brief menu, as it changes nightly. All the locally sourced components are listed on the menu, and some are grown right on the property. It's a beautiful 30 minute drive from Baddeck. The staff... More

It was a cold, wet weekend early evening. Close to closing time but we were fed a great home style meal by friendly staff in a busy little spot. Do Drop in

My husband and I stayed at the Chanterelle Inn and made reservations for dinner. All the food is locally sourced so you know its fresh. We enjoyed a blueberry and beet salad along with the crab bisque to start. We both opted for a sizeable lobster accompanied by cooked veggies and corn on the cob. We finished dessert with a... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner in early June. It was highly recommended by our B&B hosts in Baddeck. It is a few miles outside of Baddeck but well worth the 30 minute drive. I called ahead that morning for dinner reservations and as it was early in the season, we were surprised and delighted that we... More

The home was built as a B and B and was very homey and comfortable with a beautiful screened porch for wasy relaxing after touring the scenic areas near the inn.... More

Great secluded place with cottages and rooms. A lovely view, very environmentally friendly, great dining room with all natural foods and great service, we have stayed there several times and our experiences have always been amazing! Keith and Earlene are both super nice and very accomadating! Will definitely be back!
