Our friend who lives in the Scranton area took us to one of his favorite restaurants and we were not disappointed. Started with a great martini (Seabreeze). An antipasto salad and pizza was served as an appetizer and both were excellent. I had the seafood pasta which cooked have served two easily. My husband and the veal Santorini with pasta... More

We came here specifically based upon wonderful reviews on Yelp. We arrived early as we did not have a reservation. I would suggest a reservation if dining on a Friday or Saturday nite with more than 2 people in your party. Great old Italian music like Louis Prima, Dean Martin singing Italian classics, a plus for the dining experience. The... More

Hands down the best Italian food in the area! I've worked my way through the majority of their menu and everything is outstanding. My current favorite is the Veal Saltimbocca. My wife orders her usual Veal Parm. Thanks to the great staff we are always greeted warmly and seated quickly. Shelly is always very friendly and able to offer great... More

Amadeo's has a very extensive menu but they're known for their risotto. It is a little out of the way but worth it. I suggest reservations if you plan on going there for dinner.

After reading some of the reviews prior to making our dinner reservation on Saturday night, my wife & I expected a great meal, but that was not the case. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived at 6PM. My wife and I ordered the veal parmigiana dinner, which came with a salad, roasted potatoes & vegetable. To be... More

We had dinner last night at Amadeo's. The food was fantastic!!! The mushroom bisque was one of the best soups I've ever had. The homemade pumpkin ravioli was unbelievable. Light and delicious, and the walnut reduction sauce was amazing. My husband and daughter ate the risotto, and it was so creamy. The portions of risotto were HUGE and the staff... More

there's no shortage of Italian restaurant's in this region, but this one is the best. More than a spaghetti/meatball place.

Amadeo's is on the short-list of special occasion places for both sides of the family. I'm a little surprised to see some mediocre reviews here. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent, service is friendly and solid. We've been here dozens of times ... and will keep going. 4.5 stars.

Somewhere along the line I have grown tired of miniature portions of Italian food that are supposed to be unique (but is just odd), in restaurants I'm supposed to be dazzled by, served by people with huge egos who are ordinary waiters. Amadeo's is family place that might be a little worn around the edges, has little or no ego... More
