My wife and I stopped here while traveling through. They had a Sunday special on their fish bowl drinks. Very weak. Drank a whole Long Island tea and never felt a thing. Ordered the Maryland fried platter and it wasn't much. One crab cake, two shrimp, two scallops, and two oysters for $27. I don't mind paying for good food... More

Who expects a raw oyster bar in the middle of Pennsylvania? But there it is. The place is fairly big, kind of a pub setting with a big bar (which surrounds the oyster shuckers as well as the bartender) and booths and tables. I had one of their signature cocktails (involving Bourbon, Chambord and cranberry) - quite good. They had... More

The fried oysters and crab cakes were very good. The salmon and crab hash and the Maryland crab soup, not so much. I would give it another shot but would avoid those selections.

I went there for lunch recently looking to have seafood for lunch. I didn't order any seafood as nothing on the menu appealed to me. I settled on a burger. After my order was placed I heard another server giving his table the lunch specials, all of which sounded great and I would have ordered had I known about them!... More

Went here based on ta reviews. We ordered dinner for family of 5, bill was 180. Grilled seafood plate was two shrimp, two scallops, and a small piece of salmon, everything overcooked. Ordered a crab cake to add. Good but lacking salt and spices. Garlic mashed potatoes were very watery. Very disappointing meal, very expensive. If you like oysters, I'm... More

We took our son to this restaurant to celebrate his birthday. I told the hostess it was my son's birthday. She told me he would get a desert and the waiter chad would sing to him. We finished our meal and were given the bill. No desert no song and no happy birthday. My son was very upset !Especially when... More

Went here after a long day of travel. I had the lobster roll and my friend had the lobster tacos. They were both done to perfection. But the lobster bisque was beyond words. We plan to come back just for the bisque. We also shared and couldn't finish the chocolate cake and milk. But it was as good as it... More

I highly recommend Docs. Can't think of one thing I do not like about it. The grilled seafood cobb salad is delicious and fresh definitely a must try. Service is attentive and the price is equivalent to the quality.

Every few years I get a case of amnesia and forget why I never go here. So my daughter and I went to lunch and it was a truly awful experience. The oysters were fine but the crackers were stale. The rolls weren't fully cooked and had raw dough in the middle. I only got 1/3 of the way through... More

This is a must if you like seafood. Several (8 choices the night I was there) choices of fresh oysters, great selection of draft beers including Guiness. The lump crabmeat dish was fabulous. Great looking building with lots of wood and friendly staff and a huge bar and seating capacity.
