Great meal

Casa Amigos is a great, authentic, non-chain Mexican restaurant near Pittsburgh Airport. A bit challenging to find (it is on the ground level of a multi-story office building), the inside is definitely inviting and well-themed. On a weekday, I was quickly seated, and throughout, had quick and friendly service. The margaritas here were very good, and the food very good, tasty, and with large portions. Overall, this is a great Mexican food option.

Solid,clean food...

...but something was missing. I'm not sure how to describe it; the food had flavor but wasn't really flavorful if that makes sense - like a step above generic with a few more steps to get to the top. I wasn't really disappointed that I ordered here but the next time I want some Mexican takeout, I'll try someplace else. One thing I want to say about this restaurant and others as well concerning takeout food is they shouldn't pack it like they are serving it inside the restaurant. Breads and sauces especially should be kept separate from meats and cooked vegetables. Some assembly should be done at home. For example the chicken Mexican flatbread concoction I ate probably would have tasted a lot better if the bread wasn't soggy from the verde sauce poured all over it. It sat in that watery sauce for a while before I was able to take it out of the package at home. With a lot of indoor dining at restaurants closed these days and take out being your only option (especially if you're like me and don't want to breathe the ventilated air of everyone else), restaurants need how to perfect how they package food for take out. Anyway, I didn't stuff myself as I was easily able not to finish the adequate portions that were a tad pricy.

Pretty Darn Good Mexican Food!

While staying at a nearby hotel for business, I stopped in here one evening for a margarita. The first Margarita I got was made from sour mix and tasted very generic like that. I mentioned it to the lady serving me and working that bar and she told me about there Skinny Margarita which is made with freshly squeezed orange and lime, so I opted for that as a second round and it was amazing! I also tried their guacamole and it was outstanding! They even have a hot version of salsa, which tasted smokey and offered plenty of heat. I imagine their entrées are also amazing, given the authentic and great flavors I tried in other items. Definitely would return!

Always great !!

We dine at Casa Amigos a Mexican restaurant several times a month. We normally sit in the bar area because it is more cozy. The food is consistently great as is the service. I highly recommend Casa Amigos you won’t be disappointed.

A Gem in Moon Township

Finally tried this place last evening. Food quality was great, as was the service. Black beans were scrumptious. A tad pricey overall, but worth it. A nice addition to the limited Moon Township eatery scene.

Always very friendly, great food, nice setting. Been here many, many times over the last few tears. Shady patio, nice bar and dining room. Love Casa Amigos!

Good food, weak drinks and mediocre service

The food was very good, and I’m comparing it to great food near my home in Texas. There is a good variety to choose from so everyone in the group found something they liked. The service was very good, and the food came out quickly. The Pablano chicken I had was fantastic.

Tasty lunch

Having a doctor's appointment in Moon Twp., looked for a place to have lunch. Casa Amigos looked interesting, and it was. Very good food and service. We had margaritas, fajitas and enchiladas. It was hard to find! I thought our GPS was taking us around in circles until we found it in a corporate park. Literally nobody would find this by just riding by.

Pleasantly Surprised

Service was fantastic with a very attentive staff that gave me good recommendations. Ended up ordering a house specialty called the "Casa Burrito." It was HUGE, and was basically fajitas served in a burrito shell. The steak was not the greatest, this the 4 instead of 5 star rating, but this was a really nice experience.

Good place for lunch

Good Mexican meal!

First visit and pleasantly surprised. We were seated quickly which was nice. Our server did an excellent job throughout then meal. We had their chips and salsa. Salsa was good and we also ordered cheese dip and a side of guacamole as well. . My meal was the enchiladas moles.with refried br-eand and rice. Very tasty and a big fan of any type of mole. I will be back here soon.

So...I asked for a steak

Medium-well off course. What it came to my table were 3 slides of a what it was an steak. Cutting corners and taking people as what they are not. Don’t come here.

A Pleasant Surprise

Visiting from out of town. Found this off the beaten path restaurant. One of the best Mexican restaurants ever! Food and margaritas were outstanding. Service was great-wait staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask.Highly recommended.
