The food at Apple Valley is above extraordinary. The portions are larger than I've seen anywhere and the service was great. I had the brisket and let me say it ruined me for ever having brisket anywhere else. My husband had the fish and chips....Two huge fish filets along with fries. He doesn't usually leave food on his plate but even he couldn't finish it. I only wish we had been in Milford longer so we could have enjoyed another meal here. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of deliciousness.More

We were looking for something different in our travel north. Found their signage on a blue sign and we decided to stop. The service was quick and attentive. They handled my food allergy with ease. The food was great. We make the north to south...trip often. We will be back.More

The food in this restaurant was amazing. The hot food was hot. Not lukewarm. The soup was delicious and the meal itself was fabulous. And so much to eat! The service was very good.

This is a good restaurant for lunch. Staff were polite and courteous. Speed of service was good. Portion size is good and maybe bigger than many other places. Menu choices are good. Restaurant is clean and well maintained. Covid-19 restrictions are not followed in this...place. Masks are not required and most staff and other customers don’t wear masks. There is a sign outside that masks are not required. Price of menu items seemed a bit high. Examples : 1 chicken sandwich pike: $14.95, 1 chicken wrap : $13.95, kids menu grilled cheese: $6.95. Overall it’s a good restaurant to try when you are in town.More

Stopped for lunch on our way home after vacation. Saw their sign on the highway and decided to give it a try. Greeted and seated immediately and I had the brisket sandwich with onion rings and wife had the half rack of ribs. Portions were...very large. Food was good but had too much bbq sauce which covered the flavor of the meat instead of complementing it. Maybe put less on the meat and put extra on a side dish?More

This was our third trip to the Poconos and third time eating at Apple Valley. Food was still delicious. Prices seemed a bit higher ($15 for a burger), but again the food was still excellent (and made the price less of a "thing" after we...ate).More

Absolutely LOVED the short rib sandwich special (~$15.) which came with mushrooms, onions, and Havarti cheese on grilled sourdough bread! Wow. I hope that sandwich remains a special on the menu for quite awhile! Service was excellent and friendly, too. Some of the prices are...a bit high, but the food is just great. The rib-eye steak was also enjoyed tremendously, as well as the crab cake sandwich and ahi tuna sliders. Keep up the great work! A bonus is the great little shops nestled next to the restaurant to browse in. Especially loved the old-fashioned candy cottage and the wood-working store.More

We stopped for lunch and had a pretzel special with a tasty cheese sauce. The pretzels were warm, salted, but not too salty and delicious. My wife had a special rib melt that was really delicious and big enough for leftovers, and I had a...Wurst special on warm sauerkraut that was very good. Their fries are excellent as well.More

Glad to see they're open for take out during the covid restrictions. Their website was a little hard to tell - said they were closed due to the covid threat, but maybe I just misread portions of it. Either way, they should probably update the...website to indicate open for take out. We want them to get as much business as possible! The smoke house chicken dinner (chicken breast covered with ham, bacon, smoked gouda, etc., with mashed potatoes and very good grilled-type veggies) was very good ($16.95) as were the prime rib sliders ($13.95.) Sliders were bigger than I expected on smallish hoagie rolls, so that was great! They came with huge fries and a piece of dill pickle. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Called the order in around 4:45 p.m. on a Sunday evening, and it was ready to pick up in about 30 minutes. You go inside, to the right and over to the bar to pay and pick up the order. Business seemed to be going well, so that was good to see. We all need to support the local restaurants during these insane times!More

I would not suggest you eat anything particularly any seafood at this restaurant, the food was awful.

They have a pretty good selection. Chili, pot pie, burgers, sandwiches, fajitas, steak, pasta, prime rib, brisket, fish n chips.... Their Onion blossom (Bloomin' onion) is delicious.
