We had a party of five - my DIL booked this restaurant as it had been reviewed by NPR. She said the NPR review had said the restaurant was booked a year in advance; however, when we visited it was not very crowded at all. As another reviewer mentioned, the cost was somewhat expensive, with separate prices for salads, which... More

I think they should give you a side salad with your meal. The portions are somewhat small and it is a little pricey for what you get. The menu is small and it is a BYOB restaurant. There were 6 of us for dining under the stars. We choose to eat inside because it was so humid outside. I had... More

We booked a reservation here based on other tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed with the food. Everything tasted great, and the service was really good. But, the temperature of the room was very uncomfortable. It was in the upper 80s outside and very humid, and they had the door open with no A.C., at least none that we... More

I had and excellent lunch at this lovely farm to table restaurant. The menu was very interesting, creative and reasonable. Very nice and clean setting, polite and efficient service and a good location right on State Street.

I went here when I was in media for jury duty, and had a pleasant experience. I had the salmon sandwich, which was delicious and filling. The salad that it came with had a zingy dressing that complemented the sandwich well. I also tried the honey peach soda, which was much sweeter than I expected. I couldn't take more than... More

This restaurant can always be counted on to over-deliver on expectations. We had three meals tonight and they were all excellent. Duck (the fave), trout and chicken dishes were all packed with favor and interesting ingredients. We will be back.

I've eaten here 3 times in the last 2 years and each time the food was an absolute delight but each time there just didn't seem like enough of it. I'm not a big eater but I like to feel satisfied after a meal. Frankly, if I hadn't been being treated, I wouldn't have gone back.

The food was great, but somehow I expected from the website and the concept of the restaurant that it would be much more veggie-friendly. You have to ask for a "special order" - the chef does not make it part of the menu. I guess the "farms" in the area are meat/fish oriented. The wait staff were very attentive, but... More

We have gone to this restaurant several times and they always miss the mark. The food is good, but there is always something that is not quite right. The last time I was there the meat was over cooked as in not close to how we ordered it. We asked for medium rare and it was much closer to well... More

Very, very good choices of a wide variety of fresh foods. Raw root salad with orgegano, fresh brewed ginger iced tea, salmon with sugar roasted Brussel sprouts and other items such as garlic, atmosphere was magical on Valentines Day with an acoustic live act, wait staff was pleasant. Only reason it is 4 stars versus 5 is we also tried... More
