Your spot for amazing buffalo chicken

I stopped by this place before a show at the Roxian and ordered the best buffalo chicken stromboli I've had in my life. It was gigantic, had dippin' ranch and extra sauce included, and was only $16. Additionally, it was ready for pick-up in about 20 minutes in the middle of dinner rush. My buddy got a gyro -- also large, delicious, and ridiculously low-priced for the quantity and quality. I'll be making regular pilgrimages to this spot from now on.

Great Pizza!

We love the pizza, sauce and dough are excellent! Generous toppings. Spaghetti and meatballs also very good.

Horrible experience, no care about patron experience

We had a terrible experience at Mama Lena's. We placed a takeout order and took it home with us when it was ready. I had a horrible shock when I discovered that I had bitten into chicken (I have been vegetarian since I was a child) in the eggplant parmesan that I ordered. Mind you, when I placed the order, I said "eggplant parmesan," the cashier said, "chicken parmesan?" to confirm, and I shook my head and said, "eggplant parmesan" very loudly and clearly and she repeated "oh ok, eggplant parmesan" back to me. When I called the restaurant after making this horrible discovery, the two staff with whom I spoke did not seem to find this to be any kind of major issue and offered to make us drive back, which is 45 minutes round trip, to pick up a properly made eggplant parmesan or to just be refunded for the sub, which obviously I wasn't going to eat. I asked to speak with the owner and he was not there, though they were open. They took down my name and number and told me that he would call me today. He did not. It was a miserable experience and one we will never be repeating. Beyond that, the other food we ordered was pretty bad. We would give it 2 stars. It's just a greasy food joint that tries to make things taste good by just loading cheese and grease onto them.

Great pizza, hoagies. and Italian dishes

This is a walk in for ordering pizza and all other dishes. They do have a restaurant in the back as well where you can eat in. I like the pizza a lot here. They make their own crusts, and have all kinds. The menu is more extensive than I expected. Seems to do a lot of business, always busy esp. for take out. Don't know if they deliver, but I expect so. Can't go wrong here.

Best Pizza and Everything

This is our go to Pizza place for Friday nights. We love all of the pizzas, calzones and salads. We have not had anything here that we didnt like. The jalapeno poppers are amazing. The white pizza is so yummy

Their white pizza sucks so does their steak salads, that they claim they don't give out utensils for delivery orders! Oh not to mention they gave me a warm giant eagle brand water to wash it down.

Great Italian Food

This is a pizza/restaurant type place. It is nothing fancy but the food is fabulous. Just the way I like it. Very good food and you don't have to get all dressed up to enjoy it. The pizza, or the lasagna, or the spaghetti, or the etc., and even more etc's. are all made with those special spices that make eating here a pleasure. Sunday they have a spaghetti special that comes with a side salad. The side salad is almost a meal. If your near the place definitely stop in. Don't go past-a, stop for there pasta!

White pizza with chicken/spinach is the best pizza I have had.

This is the best pizza I have ever had. The white pizza with chicken and spinach is great. If you want to sample some of the specialty pizza come in for the $5 special which includes 2 slices and a soda.

Cozy place to eat

A Star on Broadway

My second visit here this year. This low-key pizza shop/restaurant is a place to go for great pasta, sauce, pizza, and delicious bruschetta. Very low key and casual. On street parking is great, price is too, 10 cent an hour during peak time, no charge after 6 on a Saturday. It is also BYOB with no corkage fee. A great overall bargain. Staff is friendly, service is great.
