Barbara and I had a fine anniversary dinner in this romantic Italian setting. The food was excellent and while traditional faire was OK, the more unusual and exotic menu items were exceptional. The pumpkin ravioli was beyond superb...ethereal really. We don't understand how the ravioli stayed so light throughout without losing it's consistency and without losing it's capacity to fully... A spur of the moment decision to enjoy a quiet lunch before the evening festivities brought us to Alba for the second time. Last time we had a romantic dinner in the dining room, this time we sat at the bar and had a salad (me) and pasta (Mark) along with a glass of wine. Excellent choice! From the goat... More

I met a client for lunch on two occasions in the Fall of 2016. On both occasions, we made lunch reservations which were unnecessary both times. On the first occasion, I went with the Wild Boar Ragu over a Pappardelle while on the second visit ordered the Rabbit Agnolotti. The portion sizes were excellent for lunch and the food was... More

I rarely if ever give a one star rating. But this restaurant's food was rather awful. The antipasto contained four very tiny bites--all bland or greasy. There was one piece of proscuitti that was decent but overly loaded with oil. The rest was tasteless, even the pate was hard to swallow and had a fruit topping with very little tang... More

My friend and I sat at the bar (we arrived at 4:30 and dinner isn't served until 5:00) and had drinks and appetizers. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful drinks and food! Will go again to try dinner!

Not your typical Italian restaurant, unless, perhaps, you're in Italy. The King and Queen were not familiar with many of the items on the menu so we both took the safe route and went with something we know - trout and duck. Both were very good. Although not on the menu, we requested a caprese salad to share as an... More

Dining at Alba was a great experience You felt as if you were in Rome. A rustic dining area, a seriously knowledgeable waiter, and food that was divine. Best app, guacamole on toast, 2nd best, figs on gorgonzola cheese, the rest were very good. A rib eye for the birthday boy with mushrooms and a crisp yam beneath it.The meal... More

Stopped at Alba for first time late on Saturday night. It was a busy crowd but we didn't have to wait for table for two. We sat the bar room which had lively music playing louder than the more formal dinning areas. We liked this atmosphere very much. The aromas of the food were amazing. Had the braised pork which... Food is different, excellent and well prepared. Offerings are not the standard fare and venture on the exotic side. Very good service.

Great place, location, people. The Suckling Pig dish is tough to pass up. Comfort food at its best. Martinis aren't bad either. Highly recommend
