Always wanted to eat here but never did for some reason until on the way back from looking at a car in Lititz. The parking lot didn't look too full so we stopped. So glad we did! Huge menu and huge portions of good, home cooking-style food. Got the turkey dinner over filling... it was the best turkey at a restaurant I've ever eaten. Real roast turkey and it was so much I couldn't eat it all! We loved it so much we went back just last week and enjoyed a huge club sandwich on a plate loaded with hot, fresh cut fries. Above average, pleasant service, great food, good desserts -- what more could you want?

We drove through Intercourse to visit Amish country. Lititz center was a bit underwhelming so maybe we missed something. So on our way back to Bethlehem we came across Brickerville House. The menu had all the home cooked food I love and I could have ordered 20 things off the menu and been happy. Id never tried scrapple and always wanted to so had that and the Rachel sandwich. My wife had the Pittsburgh salad. Both great. We enjoyed BYOB from Cullari winery next door which was delicious and under $15 a bottle for most choices. The meal including extras cost around $40 total and tip. Laura S was our waitress and was super nice and helpful. Best restaurant experience I've had in so long. Had to eat i was so hungry so I didn't get the best pics.. Thank you

My wife and I ate here on our first night in town. It was about ten minute drive from downtown Lititz, but worth every minute. On a Monday night, it wasn't too busy so we were seated upon arrival. I did notice pagers which must be for busier times.
We shared the Brickerville fries which are fries, cheese, bacon, and spring onions with ranch dip. My wife loved them as the fries were well cooked and sturdy, perfect for dipping.
We also shared the Mac Attack burger and I'm glad that we did! It was so good but half was more than enough for each of us. Although we asked for the burger medium well, it was well done, which turned out to be perfect for the brioche bun. The Mac and cheese is served fried in top of the burger and is molten when first served.
My wife did end up taking a slice of chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting back to our room and raved about that as well.
Along with our Pepsi, tea, and water, the bill came to about$34 before tip. Our waitress, Grace, was very nice. If we're ever in the area again, we will be eating there again.

I visited with two friends on a Sunday at 12:30 pm for lunch. I ordered the fried 🍗. After bringing the rolls, my friends’ soup & salad & one of my sides, the server came & informed me they were out of chicken. I had the Cole slaw, which had no flavor. I swit chef to the senior citizen fried haddock meal which only comes with one side, so I cancelled one side. I thought the server could have given it to me for taking so long to let me know they were out of chicken. When the haddock arrived, the one end was cut(not breaded). I have never been served a filet of fish that was not entirely breaded. I guess they cut part of a larger filet for the senior portion. Worse, the fish was served lukewarm. I believe they rushed it since my friends’ meals were already in preparation when they said there is no chicken. Needless to say, I do not plan to return anytime soon. The server was attentive in keeping our beverages filled.

I used to enjoy getting ice cream there over the years. June 15, 2020 about 1 :30 pm was my 2nd visit this season. I ordered 2 scoops in a dish. The young woman serving me did not have gloves on when she took my cash. When she handed me my dish of ice cream she was not wearing a mask or gloves. I was wearing a mask when I walked up to the stand and placed my order. I asked: You don't wear masks anymore? And she said: If you have a problem with it I can put one on.
Do I have a problem with it? I certainly have a problem with being spoken to in that manner. And yes, I would strongly prefer that people handling food wear a mask. Does not matter to me if it is yellow phase or not and it is not mandatory. I will not be going back there again. I can do better with any top quality ice cream from the grocery store, via curbside delivery.
I must say my other visit this season, when the county was still in red phase, was better. Gloves were worn and a mask. And no snippy remarks.

We were eating here at Brickerville House about twice monthly for several years. However - our last few visits were POOR experiences with regard to Food quality and Cleanliness. The steak my husband ordered was improperly cooked, and the crab cakes I ordered were SPOILED/rancid. As far as Cleanliness goes, frankly, it isn't. It is currently FILTHY here. Antiques aside, there was a layer of dust everywhere, particularly thick dust on the window blinds right next to our table. Our last few visits we sat in the same place, so that has obviously not even been touched; a small spider web was added at some point and this too is escaping whatever cleaning routine might be in effect. Covid is no excuse for what's going on here - the owner wants to sell and cannot - the blonde lady walking around trying to look important is not noticing what she needs to pay attention to. The teens working in this restaurant are great, but they all look worried and have trouble smiling.

Stopped in here with friends after going to see the snow geese. The restaurant is charming and our waitress was very nice. Because I had eaten a big breakfast before seeing the geese, I opted for just scrambled eggs and scrapple. My meal was very good. Everything was cooked the way I like it. My friends really enjoyed their meals which were hearty than mine and would probably have earned the restaurant a 5 rating. The prices were very good as well. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

My wife and I have been going for breakfast there on Saturday or Sunday for the past 3 months with excellent food and service. Today we arrived and we were told it would be a 20 to 25 minute wait. Problem was there were open tables everywhere. I counted at least six in the front area alone! Another 4 tables needed cleaned off. Maybe instead of having 3 hosts standing at the cash register, they could be helping to clean up the dirty tables. There were 2 other couples in the waiting area. A wait that long for breakfast is ridiculous! Your food is good, but not that good. So we will not be going for breakfast, lunch or dinner anymore at The Brickerville House.

Great all around family restaurant, bring your own wine, with extensive menu. Staff are upbeat, friendly and attentive. Restaurant is expansive with many room choices for seating. Portions are very generous, many folks took home enough for another meal, including me with the large chicken quesadilla. This was our 3rd visit since we discovered it this year and we will return.

Stopped in for a late breakfast after a morning of photography at Middle Creek. Food came out quickly, was very tasty (gluten free toast wasn't toasted very much), and the staff was pleasant and very attentive. We will definitely be back next year when we come back.

Friendly service, the ability to sit in a quiet area and huge servings of decent breakfast food; are the strong points of the restaurant.
But my husband said the coffee was terrible and we both noted that the old plastic glasses for water and juice as well as the cheap silverware , diminished the pleasure.
We might return when in the area, but with some hesitancy.

We went to Brickerville House for a late breakfast. The food was excellent. Between the five of us we had pumpkin pancakes, omelettes, fried eggs, and a side of cream chipped beef. Everyone enjoyed everything. The portions were huge and we ended up taking a lot of food home. We will definitely go back.

I've been a patron of Brickerville House for most of my life, experiencing its various ownerships over the years. Although I've moved south and don't visit Pennsylvania often, I decided to stop by for breakfast while on vacation this week. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing.
Upon arrival, we were seated in the far back room, which was empty. Despite numerous seating options, they placed us right next to a woman with an infant. This odd choice was perplexing but tolerable.
We ordered breakfast, and the server asked if we wanted onions on our potatoes, to which we agreed. When the check arrived, we were shocked to find that a tiny glass of orange juice was over $7 and our omelets were more expensive than listed on the menu. When we inquired, we were told the extra charge was for the onions—$1.50 extra. There was no mention of this surcharge anywhere, and the onions were merely a handful of raw slices on top, not mixed in.
It's disheartening to see my once-favorite place become a cash grab, with quality suffering to the extent that a handful of raw onion is considered adequate. I won't be returning and will share this experience with others.

This historic restaurant never disappoints. You do not need a reservation. The establishment is large enough to hold many and each room/section has great atmosphere. The menu is huge so your options are immense. There are daily specials. On my last visit I tried the Greek Shrimp in lemon butter sauce and it was wonderful. My husband had the meatloaf and friends had sandwiches. The corned beef on the Reuben was a bit tough, otherwise, we all enjoyed our meals. We had no room for dessert, but all 4 of us returned 3 days later for that dessert. The cake choices are heaven & very large. No alcohol is served, but you can bring your own wine. They do not serve COKE products which is the only drawback for me.

Went for supper craving a roast turkey and mashed potatoes meal. The restaurant advertised “homemade” mashed potatoes. This tasted like shipped in pre-made food. The Lancaster County Diners all have this same gross food. Maybe the breakfast or sandwiches are good but their dinner meal menu food is NOT good. My spouse also got a dinner menu meal and did not like the food either. We will not be back.
